Ongoing Montana thread
Well if I like the idea its better than nothing. We could all meet up around noon or earlier on Sat then drive down to the car show together and walk around and check some cars out. If we stay long enough we can drive with them to the fair grounds or just go out a take a cruise of our own. I'm up for it just depends on what all the other are doin. But yea would be a good idea for us all to get out and hang out.

Well me and dave made it run somewhat better by replacing the spark plugs cuz they were pretty much toast. And he later adjusted the omp rod, it was putting a little too much oil in the engine. So now it doesnt smoke as much and runs smoother. But it looks like we have about another day or so for replys to see what we are all gonna do.
Well I will be there. I doubt I will be cruising beforehand. You chisslers got my number. If I don't see ya down there gimmie a call. I will most likely just walk from my shop like usual.

Yea I still have your FSM here, I got it in my room. Whenever you have time I can get it back to you. Oh yea do you work at a car dealership? I see your car everyday when Im at work at City Motors. I found out from this forum that I had to compare my NA harness to the turbo harness and cut and splice in 2 of my own to the ECU. I still have to do the same for the stock temp gauge.

Turbo is broken.
On the lookout for a working S5 Turbo.
I just hope it isnt the engine. Only starts to smoke when the car starts to get warm. Well when the EGT gets hotter. Well guess I'll find out when I get a better S5 turbo.

DAMN! my turbo mani finally folded on me.
Just two months ago when I took my whole turbo and exhuast off to fix a very noticable exhaust leak I checked my turbo mani and found a hairline crack near the flange. Didn't think it would be enough to hurt anything(also didn't think it was big enough to be the leak). So I threw it back on with new gaskets and the noise was fixed.
I still noticed a little "tick tick tick" but let it go. Well today at 14psi on 10th she popped. It scared the holy hell out of me, almost thought I blew my engine but after I noticed instant throttle response in nuetral I was relieved.
I cant see where it blew but it must be the bottom portion of the flange on the mani.
Ths car sounds like *** but any rotary sounds like *** running no mani. Anyone have a S5 turbo manifold laying around?
If not cool, I will find one. Thought I would let you all know. That was the cars longest streak without having it's period. 2 months, 1250 miles. Not bad..

Well I think Im gonna order a S5 turbo setup from this guy off here since my turbo is burning alot of oil. It comes with the manifold so if you want i can give you mine since mine is S5. Which I was suprised about. Unless you find one before I get the turbo setup.
