Rasom's car throws juicy beast flames. Its cool to watch when your following. The only thing that sucked is when my car decided to throw some big flashing flames I was following. Yea its was pretty cool letting the tailpipes light up the road behind us.

Ransom, Congrats bro. I wish you and your bride the very best.

You know she has every right now to hate your car even more and give you silly ultimatims like "its me or the car !"

So I have been thinking since I now already have another megasquirt and I have a teardown coming up this late winter(I hope) I just am gonna go all out on my car this time. It may take a year or two but I m thinking:

Half Bridge
1200 secs inj
Turbonetics T4 60-1 or GT35 OR BNR 4(if poor)
atkins rebuild kit
exedy twin plate clutch or ACT 6 puck again,if im poor by then
Tein Coilovers
Koyo rad
finally install my FPR and lines.

I should hopefully hit mid 400hp # with barely some streetability left.

Im excited but also very busy and have other more pertinent financial necessities for the family coming up soon in the near future.

Looks like I am going to do the waiting game as well Ransom.

Anyway that should be perfect for when I start to road race it when finished.

Thanks guys. Well I am not sure at all at what I am going to do here. I have a strange stumble. I just don't know where I want to throw my money at. She has always been really good about the car and still is.

Its amazing what we do when we are young. I'm only 19 and I've already had 4 RX7s. An 87 GXL, Rolled 86 Sport for parts for the GXL, mainly the engine for the GXL. An 87 Sport and current car, and 87 Turbo for parts for the sport. Since the turbo body was all just rust. I just used it as a donor car and transplanted all the turbo components to the sport. All my RX7s have been older than me. Isnt that funny. I like how your ar is coming along superstock2. I'll keep checking your thread and lookin at the progress. And you can also keep us all updated. Just post up when you get somthing done.

Alright cool.

Later on everyone

Matt

I very well could be. Oh and Sean you could always ride with one of us or something you still do own a 7 and we did not hang much before the Doom. I also called Daryl and he is in Africa at the moment for a few weeks. I will give him another call and see what is going on about a motor. See if he is going to have time and what not.

Angry The Rotary Bug

https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generation-specific-1986-1992-17/strangest-oil-pressure-problem-i-have-ever-encountered-brain-buster-559539/

The Rotary always seems to bring upon problems. Why? ha ha

Man, Sean that turned out to be a long thread (^above^). Contains alot of help though. I just need to get some parts and get my car fixed up some more. I just dont have any way of ordering the parts I need. Since everwhere only takes credit cards or debit cars. I have paypal but I dont think that works. Well if any of you guys can order me the parts I need I can pay you for them before you order them for me. Kyle ordered me a clutch line and I payed him for it before I got it. The main things I think I would need would be a front cover gasket, oil pan gasket and turbo oil inlet and outlet gaskets. Unless you guys know of how I can order this stuff with out cards or money order since money order takes longer. And whenever I get the parts and stuff look like it will consume my 2 days off work.

Oh ya I just noticed I said debit cars not cards. Well hey it works, cause RX7s are cars that put you in debt. Ha Ha.

And the teflon seal and some High Temp RTV silicone will be needed. If i missed anything tell me. I should be able to purchase all of the stuff needed on my next pay check. Which will be on the 7th. And be able to work on it prob tuesday and wednesday.

Just have to do pretty much the same as you did below.

Been dealing with this problem for 3 months and have done many tear downs on front cover and oil pan and measured all specs. Replaced the oil pressure regulator, measured the spring length on the oil control valve and replaced that(was actually out of limit). o-ring fix was finally completed after a custom combo with the teflon ring and RTV, replaced the oil pump with a new unit, oil cooler lines and unit perfect including it's own bypass pellet set-up. Shaft pellet was replaced and later shimmed. Running 20w-50.

Read my first post, I am getting very close reading to what the FSM states but that is at a stand still. Under load it is half that. My mods

Sorry man but I dont have the budget to just tear apart my entire engine to fix a problem that some find OK and others dont concur, I honestly believe it will be find. Only reason I posted this thread was to see if someone else had this problem and had pre-mature engine failure to low pressure. I know mods play a big factor in this question but it was general.

My mods are:
Street Ported bare block S5 13BT, Panspeed Hybrid T04B Turbo .60 AR, Racing Beat Turbo-back exhaust, Rotary Performance Underdrive Main Pulley , Blitz SBC id III Boost Controller, HKS Twin Power, Custom TID, All emissions removed, Greddy V-fin FMIC, HKS SSQV Blow off valve. 12lb lightwieght flywheel, ACT Heavy duty Clutch Kit, Stock ECU, HKS F-CON with upgraded ROM, F-CON GCC, AEM Ugeo wideband, Rotary Performance 480lbh fuel pump with custom voltage kill switch (helps with flooding), Brandnew stock 550cc injectors

Trust me man, been all over this **** in other threads. Been working on rotaries for 6 years now so I am not a complete dip ****. Thanks for your concern though.

Why do we all continue to work with the rotary? I dont get it, maybe its just a passion for the difference of engineering. Wow, this is also turned out to be a pretty large post.
