Here're a list of check I received as of today.

A. butler (1 car)
H. Coleman (1 car)
N. Carlson (1 car)
F. Bennett (2 cars)

Also, N. Carlson,
You mentioned that the car made 483hp from the previous owner. I honestly don't think that a single walbro pump and a 60-1 turbo would make the hp for it. If everything works properly and assuming your engine is street ported, we might see 400hp at best if I have to guess. I honestly don't think I can get what the car used to make with the turbo and fuel setup you currently have.

also, what tranny was in it to support 800hp?

I think we have to cut off at 10 cars. I don't think I'll be able to do more. We can put a standby list for anyone above the first 10 people.

I don't know if I will have anymore weekends left for tuning before the end of this year. So far, my schedule is as follows:

West Palm Beach 9/9/06 (confirmed)
MN 10/7/06 (confirmed)
LA (7 stock) 10/28/06 (tenative)
St. Louis 10/21/06 (tenative)
DE 11/4/06 (tenative)
Kayman Island Nov (tenative)

I think those are the ones I remembered so far.

Okay your two cars makes about 10 committed cars. Steve I expect about 2-5 more people will be wanting to sign up. Are you saying you can't dyno tyne 15 cars in two days and 20 hours of dyno time????

If that's true then we should schedule you for two weekends if we get more cars like I expect. Can you be at the dyno site by 8:00am on Saturday???

I am already pushing my limits for having 3 weekends in Oct. I don't think I can handle another weekend for that month.

Stand-By List for Tuning in MN with the blessing of Steve & Ken. Feel free to add your name if you intend on getting it done but have some issues. Please commit ASAP once your situation is resolved.

1. foamfan (Evan): Replacing engine, needs to be broken-in plus adjustments when I get it back.

Steve,

Quite a few St. Louis guys would like it delayed till November. If they give up the 10-21 tenative slot could we reserve it???

We currently have 9 that sent you a deposit plus my car makes 10 committed. We have 4 others that are working on getting their cars running, they are all optimistic they will be ready by 10-7, even better if it was 10-21 that gives them two more weeks to get ready and break in. I have Damian and Kevin Wyum who are maybes. Who know who else will come out of the woodwork in the next 4 weeks.

Thanx,

Ken

10-21-06 would take a lot of heat off me in trying to get the car ready

I think Kan has already schedled to go to St. Loius for 10/21. He goes there a lot.
Only other option I can see is talk him into another week in November or wait till next Spring(3-24-07 or later).

Well November or even Spring works for me as long as there is Dyno access (too old and responsible to get busted in streets) but problem is are there enough people for Steve to come in and enough people to share Dyno access and set-up time?

I'll try my best to get the engine broken-in ASAP but the car is still not done; hopefully sometime next week

I took over 100 pics at Wheels and Wings. If you would like me to e-mail them to you just give me your e-mail address and I'll send then to you. I'm not going to post them here as they are not RX-7 related.

My e-mail is luv94rx7@aol.com

Well they did boost it till it blew up and installed another engine same as before a 13b re from japan. as for the tranny it was rebuilt to handle 800hp i do not know what they did but that is what i was told some shop in cali and the drive line was custom made a prototype it is like half the wait of the old one and i guess it is better lol. Well i am installing my single turbo this week and got my exaust one so we are good to go i dont care how much hp it gets just as long as it runs good!!! it is really rich right now. Thanks see you soon!!!

I'd like to get in on this as well, my car is nearly complete. I just need to replace a few missing nuts/bolts from the swap and wire in the AVC-R (which looks like a pain in the *** w/all its inputs and fuzzy logic). My builder doesn't even want to use it, but I'll go with manual control if that's all that stands in the way of getting it done in time.

Is there a dyno spot open yet or are they all filled? I want to make sure he has enough time to do everybody right or I'll just have to wait until next year

AVC-R's are really easy to hook up and use. I'd be really concerned if your builder can't figure it out... If time is an issue, just run off the wastegate spring, which is still your safety relief.

The 10/6 event (I believe) has been full for awile. It would be nice to get an update from Steve (Pluto) to see the current number of actual paid spots at this time however.

Ken will have to update us on the potential for a 2nd event.

I thought we had more confirmed cars to be tuned(12).

If you want in get your down payment to Steve.

Talked to Steve 30 minutes ago and he plans on tuning up to 13-14 cars here that weekend and go all day Saturday and Sunday and fly back to DFW on Monday morning.

Thanx,

Ken

Well I may be able to go, gotta scrounge up some money before this. 350 is the total, with or without dyno costs?

3 problems right now that prolly won't be fixed in time. Lemme know if you can tune with these problems.
1. I'm leaking oil from my pan, and I lose some pressure after the engine warms up from around 30mins of driving. Still has pressure ofcourse.
2. My idle is so far off, by the screw and the ecu, both may need to be correct for tuning. Will you be able to correct my idle as is and tune?
3. Do we have the ability to check compression first? I have no clue what the life is like on my engine since rebuild.

What do I need to have in working shape and what do I need to replace before Steve starts on it?

21st would work better for me also.
