If look even closer you will see a slide throttle on what looks like headers on the bottom of the heads.

That butterfly throttle is an early attempt to control compressor surge by starving the inlet.

Unless its done properly, it will pull oil from the centre cartridge through the seals and into the compressor housing. Guys who have been on an FSAE team will know what I'm talking about.

way to use your resources! that really good work. I wish i had connections to a full blown machine shop. Must save a lot of money making your own stuff. But seems very time consuming. I'd think that it must get pretty old after awhile

nice build bro cant wait till its done but in all honesty doesnt matter what a person machinces buys or installs on his or her car if it dont work then all the time and money in the world is all for nothing, the induction system design seems solid but the pp alone not being right will make a nightmare if its not done correctly, best of luck to you bro and awsome machine work
