I've been working on my fuel lines lately, I decided to make some aluminum hard lines after seeing dhalens(sp?) pimpin' fuel system and realizing how much of a pain in the *** it is to plumb 3 rails into one reg. Here is a preview:
Be sure to lubricate the aluminum tubing when bending or flaring to prevent galling.
Bending the lines:

Tube ends get a 37 degree flare:

Bent/Flared tubing with ferrule:

First one I did (the fuel regulator is solidly mounted to the engine with a 1/4" bracket):

Also, I've been working on my senior design project and need some survey results for the paperwork part. If you are running a big single turbo and wouldn't mind filling out a quick survey, please see the attached .doc file and PM me your results. Even if you do not currently run an anti-lag system, just fill out the second part with whatever you think you would if you did.
Thanks!
Thanks!

just so you know .. there are fittings that you don't need to flare to use on tubing like this guy:

it comes with a copper crush piece on the inside. I've used them on my car.

Ok so on a different note, using hard lines with electricly conducive metals don't you pose a slight risk of potentially turning your car into a pressurized bomb? Say a spark plug wire malfunction or soething shorting out.... just curious. I am assuming with no coating or insulation?
but then you could say that potential of a shock could also go through the braided wire area.
Also you should of bought the anodized Aluminum tubing for better protection agaist the elements.

Anyways, I've gotten a bit more done on the fuel system.
Machined Some fuel distribution blocks and welded a tab on the manifold to mount the feed side. Those arn't the actual bolts I will be using...

A few more hardlines complete. Wouldn't advise doing this unless you have A LOT of patience.

Thanks! Those couplers are pretty sweet, but I'm friggen broke at the moment so I doubt I could afford them. Are they cheaper than Wiggens? Anyone have four 1600/1680cc injectors they would be willing to sell CHEAP?
I finished up the fuel hardlines, on to the vacuum & wastegate lines...

What's this doing in here?

I just viewed this page of your built.
GOOD GOOGLY MOOGLY THAT THANG IS JUICY!
*kneads ******
P.S. You sir, have awesome aluminum tig welds. That's one thing i sucked at in shop class: Aluminum tig. Mad Skillz.

This engine has nothing to do with side valves... C'mon its ferrari. On the peak of the F1 turbo era. Good picture find. But a close look shows that it has a throttle body per turbo inlet "upward trumpets"
