I think jtp's knuckles are cheaper at 350 (his shop is hotline in cali). powered by max knuckles are also 350 I believe. and there was some other company on here that sold modded knuckles for 250 but don't remeber their name. drift works or something maybe? not sure. just saying that you can save 50 over the drift union ones. JTP_'s are proven mega angle. you will be hitting LCA/frame/wheel well before lock unless you run super low offsets.

just spreading some knowledge if you didn't know it. ya, after shipping might be more then 400 for the others. I"m drifting open diff. pbm coils and na with 5th/6th ports not working. racing beat header, presilincer, 2.5" pipe to a 2.5 in/out universal thrush muffler. just keep my rpms cranking, like 6k + constant. my buzzer goes off from time to time but I'm not drifting banks either. mostly second gear stuff. so ya.

I'm not running comps. I just mess around in lots and a few corners here and there (with guys as spotters, not trying to kill people. its 2am stuff anyway. rural). I have a t2 block torn apart. still need my manifold and turbo (not sure if I'm going stock s5 there or shooting for 350rwhp out the gate yet, s4 keg cause I gots s4 base. no sunroof! haha) and a different intercooler since I decided to go v mount right off. figure do it right the first time, instead of front mount. then I still need the t2 rear end and driveshaft. have t2 trans. don't have $$$, even for my rebuild.

also, what I was going to do for a while is get an s4 t2 clutch type diff, get the thicker plates from mazdatrix and flip the springs so it locks harder and faster. see how long it works. essentially "shimming" the diff. look up shimming diffs via the method in my sig if you don't understand. I think it would be a pretty good little 1.5 way-ish setup if it lasted. better then dropping 1k on a Kaaz. and its not welded. (although I don't care, I could weld my diff as I have an open na but I daily my car and don't want to get annoyed trying to drive in the rain and parking lots with welded. my usual daily threw a rod. saving for another motor for my impreza too).

Disclaimer: I am by no way a "pro" at drifting. just a guy who has a passion for it and no funds lol. I try and throw down and spread some info I have learned but take it with a grain of salt until someone else backs up my ideas/advice. I consider myself a novice skill wise since I've only done 1 track day and it was a 1/4 mile oval with super camber corners. and my car was FULL stock at that time. no coils, no exhaust. yup, I'm just a guy

PBMs go low. Without removing collars or cranking the preload up my frame is about 2" off the ground. And they feel amazing going sideways.

poweredbymax.net. is the site. you will be re-directed though and then just click accept on the page with all that jap writing. I have the old style orange and yellow shocks which are notoriously stiff dampered. I can attest to this as it is twice as stiff as my friends sileighty on meagan tracks and he runs 12kg/10kg and mine are 10kg/8kg. both of us are on full soft for daily. the new ones ride even better without sacrificing performance. I'm assuming that they have improved upon their valving and they now run linear spring rates as opposed to the progressive rates on mine. good **** though, I love em.

as for bumpers, I always wanted the car service hiro front bumper. they have a modified version on the tec-arts FC that has a bad *** custom lower lip/section. I'd do away with the FD style signals though and just use FC signals.

and tec-arts

I was also thinking of getting a gp sports replica bumper and modifying the middle opening to be bigger like the car service hiro bumper.

The new style PBM's ride pretty good. Still noticeably stiffer than 6/8k's, but not ridiculous or uncomfortable. I have the comps, I hear the pros ride even better.

ya, car service hiro is uber functional having that huge middle opening but its not drift friendly. thing is expensive and hard to find. rhdjapan can get it I think. I might just try and fashion something similar. its not an easy process to make a mold or plug though. not looking forward to it but my motto: do work, save $$$. ya, comicartist has the current version comps and I think he said that he rode on the old versions as well. the new ones are an improvement so you can't go wrong there. correct me if I'm wrong comicartist.

I use delrin for motor and trans. Vibrates quite a bit, but I don't mind.
