225/40/18 on 18 x 10
running whatever neg camber you end up with when you lower it and don't modify anything, so the contact patch isn't huge

just add tire psi. Don't adjust the dampers.

I've run up to 80psi cold and never had any problems. As is, i would want a good amount of psi in those tires so they don't debead

Then you have something wrong with your engine or tune. Or you just need to drive more. You definitely won't have too much grip on 225s with a turbo engine.

thats what i was thinking.

http://youtu.be/gwP46Xqqv9Y

this is what 225s with 0 rear camber an 25psi on half decent tires looks like

i could have grazed the wall and not had to spin it if i had the traction i needed.

throw it harder.

225's, tons of camber, etc is not a grippy FC.

if you're having trouble with too much rear grip then add front grip or start chucking that car to get it sideways.

Yeh I'll be adding more front grip. Was interested to see what everyone else ran rear end wise though really. Do you guys find toe in effects the car much? Like I said its just a new car to learn everything all over again. I am 90% sure it wasn't lack of speed or flick, 140kph and the biggest scando my gay little arms could bust out! Thanks for all the input so far

for those out there that may come across the same problem as me, it was the toe in at the rear, wound it out to near neutral and it slides alot better now, it still has excellent grip in terms of acceleration whilst drifting (was able to close the gap on a few competitors) but doesn't want to snap back as violently
fix up the handbrake and get the box to shift cleanly and i reckon this thing could maybe make a podium, unless i put it into a wall
then it won't make any podiums

You're right, I just saw him in Palm Beach and I forgot. Anyone on here have any experience with their basic set?

BC makes good ****. you will not be disappointed.

i say either buy bc or PBM (assuming you want to drift), or save up a few more monies and get stance. but either way, you will not be dissapointed, all three companies make very nice ****.

Ya I'll be drifting it and it will be a dd. Not worried about how comfortable the ride is as long as they perform. I've ridden in a few miatas with stance coilovers and they felt pretty good, but as I said it was a miata and we weren't doing much hard driving. I'm trying to stay under $1500 mark for coilovers but we will see. And BTW I'm glad I found this thread because there are some serious suspension gurus in here and that's where I'm lacking.

Welcome to the daily drifters club. I run Tein Flex with the springs from the Super Drifts. Drive 4-5 hours on them to go to and from school for the holidays. Bucket seat too, no major complaints.

Two clicks from full soft front and rear. Change it at the track as needed.

pretty sure flexs are out of his price range (atleast new)

my vote goes for the max or the max pros (i think theyre like 200-300 more?)

although max pros seem like a bit of overkill for a street car

I'd be willing to spend more, just wanna get the right set for what I'm doing. I'm not really limited, just trying if I can to keep it under around 1500 1600 range.

Um, weld the diff, get stiff coilovers (I recommend MAX), run lots of tire pressure and don't suck

What year and trim?

High rear tire pressure welded diff(A N/A VLSD will work if you have one as long as it's not worn out) and THROW the car. Power steering and stiffer suspension helps. You can also take otu the front sway bar if you have trouble gettign sideways, or keep it and get a stiffer rear. As long as you're low on power I wouldn't take out the rear bar.

You'll probably run out of steering angle on any sweeping turns and spin though.
