i actually have the front moldings already to go. im just waiting on the rears so i can paint them all at once. the junkyards here suck. there's 3 S4's in the lot, and one of them is my old grey car...
but yea chance is right the front doesnt come with moldings luckily. i like it that way. looks lower/more aggressive.
I almost bought a set of 18x12j -15 Weds last night... my friend swooped though. I'm dying for some dish wheels... I want those AME's Justin and Ross were running so bad.
Although I'm really contemplating getting a set of weds sa-55's or AME TM-02's to keep from grenading gearsets...
Worked all night, and now staying up all day wrenching to dial in my car, then do it all over again.
Scored some sweet rear Cusco Pillow Ball mounts for my rear coils thanks to a rad customer for setting up his new TII FC.

Hope everyone has a rad day.

^^^ Nice.
Couple questions....
Are you still rockin those No Name coilovers???
I remember you were thinking about going piston (either 1/2jz or V8). Why didn't you? If money weren't a problem would you have?

yes. but not because i dislike the rotary or anything. i'm seriously pumped on my motor setup, and it came down to me not wanting to spend a ton of money "fixing" something that wasn't broken. so i kept it, and i'm still currently just building it. i bought a spare motor now, and plan on building it on the side - full bridge, stud kit, and RA Super Seal Kit, and just having it on the side. i've got 2 spare diffs now, a spare tranny, and 2 spare/broken parts transmissions.
i really want to do the 1.5jz with the vvti head. the only real issue why i'm scared of doing it is because of the FD Rules. i want to notch the firewall and have a spark plug fully tucked in the fire wall to keep the weight center balanced like factory. i dislike how jz/v8 FC's look like they drive - randomly snap spinning during transition like 240's. i probably wont switch motors anytime soon. if anything it will be done into some beater missile car to get cheap seat time in. i'm getting partial with my car after all the work i've done to it now and cutting the firewall/trans tunnel is just beyond what i want to do to it anytime soon....
Car looks good man. just read the build
glad your sticking with the rotary cause ive been looking into getting an FC for my next project car. s13's are great but i want to try something different.
Keep it up!

any pictures of them? if you could snap pics, and (depending on shipping) give me a price with the photos i might be down.
Ok so it's really hard to hold a camera and try to drive at the same time... leisurely morning cruise. gotta love the sound to wake you up in the morning.
there's no V8 that could replace this...

Update:
Picked up a few essential items for my rx7 at American Racing Supply. Going to pick up the rest of my safety gear from them for Formula Drift Vegas. I highly suggest anyone wanting race specific items to check them out! they can custom order pretty much anything and in most cases receive them within 2-3 days. They'll match any price listed with catalog too which is a plus! (summit, jegs, speedway)

blowing money like i'm blowing it on females... all day.

Hit up Harbor Freight for some tools since im missing a ton of crap from bouncing all over the place lately.
Got around to throwing in the temp sender for my autometer gauge.
Threaded the filler neck.

Finished product. took like 30mins. super easy.

Got my motor sorted out for the most part. <- got extremely lucky....
Took it out to monitor the temps and got a little rowdy.

Sealed off my firewall holes with DEI Reflecta Flame Heat Tape. took way too long cutting holes in all of it...
Also remade my Haltech 3 Bar Map Sensor mount.

made my ducting a little bit better.

I also got sick of not having turn signals, and my Speedo cable hooked up. ya know - you gotta keep track of how many miles your motor lasts between rebuilds. ;p

Tossed my intakes back on, and buttoned up the wiring with the new temp gauge sender in the water neck.

Still throwing in work trying to make sure everything is good to go. Today i'm going to finish up the upper ducting from my intercooler to vent out the hood.

now ride along friendly
