So, we'll need to confirm soon who's bringing what?? Since this is at your place Brett, do you want to start the list so we can all volunteer to bring what's needed.

Yeah, no kidding. Someone on here has mentioned bringing a BBQ (gas I think) and someone else mentioned a deck table/chairs.

Tiana and I are of course providing the venue, and we'll pick up the necessary disp. plates/forks/knives and condiments (ketchup, relish, mustard) as well as some of the non-alcoholic bevs.

We of course have a refrigerator to hold most drinks but if someone wants to supplement this with a cooler full of ice that certainly couldn't hurt the cause.

Other items that would be good to have would be a salad or two, burgers, wieners, buns, beer (for those with designated drivers) and anything else you may wish to bring.

Of course, we should determine who wants to bring what in order to avoid having 200 buns and ten burgers.

Uh, nope. It got moved to the 25th because Gary wanted it that way.

Actually the 18th is fathers' day and would have clashed. The meet (as previously mentioned) is on Sunday the 25th at around 2pm-ish--- unless the weather mucks things up. In that case it would have to be moved to sometime in July.

I am on the cusp of having visa processing problems for my planned Africa trip in 2 weeks.
If this remains the case, I shall attend. And I'll make some quesadillas on your BBQ because the FD cannot hold other types of food.

I find it ironic that everyone has to get their car running to get ready for a meet.

Maybe thats why I dont own and RX-7 Anymore.

Yeah, show up anyway--- even if all you have to get you here is a unicycle.

I lied, my FC made it to 1 official meet. Thats the thing tho. We dont even have a club. Just a bunch of dudes in a lot. I think we should start an official club with all the official club positions and events.

i'll be there Alak. my car is still in Max's garage so if it's not done in time, we can always cruise down the street to Max's and stare at it. looking forward to meeting everybody. i've been an rx-7 owner for 9 years now and have never been to a meet. i used to have a 83 gs before i bought my FD 4 years ago. this car pisses me off all the time but i cant stay mad at it.

Max is like a mad scientist. His house has like 20 years of hedge and un-cut grass around it.

Then RX-7's occuping all useable space.

Might want to ask Max if he want's a bunch of people he's never met to know where he lives and gawk at his cars. I know I wouldnt be very keen. On a side note I've found there are a few running RX's in town, powerfull one's too, they just don't hang around here.

Yeah, that might not be the wisest thing to do. If Max can make the meet he might invite some of us over for a quick tour but that's for him to decide, not us.
