These wheels are the ****!! Love autobahns haha
On freeeway I believe the w/b was reading 12s forget where. I'll report back next time. On freeway I'm a little bit above halfway(so bout ready to shut car down..), city under halfway near 1/4 or tiny bit above..
So, my turbo builder didn't drill/tap compressor housing for wastegate. So I need to drill tap it for pressure source to wastegate. Anywhere else I could possible get a accurate pressure source??

I don't have any intercooler or oil cooler ducting in. I reall have not seen the need for it yet. After a hard run I can pop my hood and in intake side of the intercooler will almost burn your hand while the cool side is cool to the touch. I think the extra slit in the Mariah front bumper also helps with getting air across the intercooler.
On a side note: if you are running pump gas, you should not be running over 15lbs unless you want to blow your engine. It is tempting for me as my turbo is happier running higher boost levels, but I'm not going to rune it for race fuel.

I was attempting to show you my oil cooler. The ducting you see there is for brake cooling and it feeds into hoses and to the front brakes. I haven't experienced any fade with my current pads, but my last pads (Hawk crap used to kill me when I hit 150mph on the back straight and then had to brake hard into a sharp turn--it was downright scaryand that is with TII rotors!). Not wanting that to happen again, I invested in better pads and cooling ducts. Function>Form.

At first I tried the npr intercooler but wasnt happy with the way it was sittin in my engine bay. Had to go. Very pleased with current setup. Definitely looks like the slit helps.
This motor I don't plan to see over 10 psi. I want to enjoy this motor for a little bit before it blows..
Only update I have:
All leaks have been taken care of other than the annoying oil pan leak. I'm going to throw away the factory gasket when I get it off and rtv silicone the pan.
My throwout bearing in the tranny is bad. Brand new too. Was ebay bearing though...I'll drop the tranny soon for that..

Good to know!! That definitely makes more sense! I have the hawk pads and I aswell am not as happy with them. Over stock all I would say is they're dirtier. Either way you look at it, i'd say you're achieving function and form .

How was the NPR intercooler mounted in your engine bay? As you can kind of see in the above picture, mine in not in my engine bay--it is in front of the radiator. Being up there also helps keep the turbo piping short as it does not have to run downwards and back up--it is just straight across.

Try Carbotech XP8 or XP10. I run XP10s all around and love them--amazing bite and minimal fade.

I had it in front of the radiator with the ends pointing up and out. It didn't fit at all any way I tried. I've seen people run them and dont know how they got it to fit...
I need help with timing
This is BS. I followed this thread and followed the exact rules on wackys post #23:
https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...ht=finding+TDC
I found out my pulley was on wrong.... so I took out the bolts and moved it and back on... Now my car wont idle really at all and sounds like a suburu sti when I try and rev... I followed the above thread exactly ...hmmm
This timing issue is kicking me in the ***. I wish someone lived near where I could pay to get this **** timed. Any help???
I can provide pictures or video.

Sorry I can't really help with the timing, but there must be a rotary shop around Vegas.
I'm not sure why your NPR intercooler didn't fit. Here is a picture of mine with the radiator top ducting removed. A little bit of cutting and it fits like it was made for the FB:

No worries, I'll get the timing figured out sooner or later.
Thats exactly how I tried mounting mine! Don't know why I couldnt. I got it so close to that position but still wasnt pleased cause I was a lot closer to the radiator. I think my exits were 2.75?? I forget. Yours looks maybe a little thinner. Looks damn good in there though!!!
I wish I could've used it but i'm very pleased with what I got.

Got the car running/idling/driving again. So I know i'm in the ballpark area of tdc. Timing is too advanced according to haltech. I'm going to knock out the timing today(hopefully) then work on fuel to get this going in boost.
I'll get some more pics vids when I can.

I'm ready to push this car off the grand canyon and smile and wave while its falling thats how pissed I am. ...
I found TDC. Big thanks to Rotospeed for a 12a pulley!! Couldn't have found it without your help on the pulley. I installed 12a pulley.. Found TDC on it.. Car revs smoothly all the way to 7k rpm..new problem though. I cant bolt down the crank angle sensor. It's not in the center area of the CAS.
I don't know how to explain this but after finding TDC, moving the CAS to position then trying to bolt it down...it's out of the zone to bolt down. I'll get a pic to describe but really?? WTF!!! I don't understand... To prove I know how to stab the CAS I timed the car perfectly at *20 trailing. I was right in the middle of the CAS. When I try the *0 TDC mark I can get it dead on it timing wise, but then I can't bolt down the CAS to keep it there???????
My friends have been saying I might need to hold down the clutch pedal while one of us changes the whole hub/pulley assembly to matching set??? Would that really help?? I'm dumbfounded by this. I dont understand......
