Phil, the car is coming along nicely. Are you gonna have it at deals gap? I'd like to compare the lighting output between your headlights and mine.

The FEED HID lights looks like they would be blinding to oncoming traffic and shine light everywhere. It's just a xenon bulb in a reflector correct?

Any plans to get rid of those efini badges? I wouldn't be opposed to it

-Dan

That's funny, because I physically make every set, and neither Dan nor I have had anything but the highest complements from every one of the recipients of our lights . Anyway, the proof is in the pudding... let's see how they stack up at DGRR as far as output, quality, and looks to ours

I'm with Theorie on this one, I like them. Of course I'm guilty too so there is strength in numbers.

I think the LEDs are just a fad, and imho somewhat ricey, but to each his own. I don't tell anyone how to mod their car, and no reason to hate on such well built cars like Phil's and David's because of one horrendous mod.

Phil, any possibility of getting some night shots of the FEED hids?

Would you rather have a used '09 Porsche Cayman S or an FD loaded up with one-off jap spec rice goodies?

They're HID bulbs with reflectors.

They're intended to be driving lights for use in the day, rather than lights to see by.

I angled mine down a fair bit, as they throw light everywhere & would blind people otherwise.

Cars looking good Phil, the leds are not to my taste, but the rest looks good

Any plans for some spacers up front?

Phil, I didnt know the MS hoods came in CF... I always thought they were fiberglass. Anyway, love that hood and I want one

I'm waiting for my new wheels to be shipped from Japan. It will have a better stance once the new wheels get here.

Actually the rear MS hoods are all CF. I'm planning to make copies of the ones I have... if my fabricator has time to do so.

Why did you swap your speedometer to units we don't even use?

Well the metric system does make a hell of a lot more sense. But you can't really give the cop the excuse " i was doing 120......KM/H" lol.

wtf? why does your old speedo say "KM/HR" but it only goes up to 180? that's only about 110 in mph. that doesn't make any sense...

my first FD was a canadian model so it had metric gauges. i tend to automatically translate the speed in my head whenever i see signs in mph.

phil, that guage cluster hood is beautiful. how much did that cost? did you do all those interior parts or just the hood?

All JDM cars are limited to 112mph (180kmh) standard. So no need to go higher for them.

I drive in kmh & the UK speed limits are in mph, its no biggy.....You just get used to it.

Looks good Phil, love the CF dash
