I will be interested in how well your fender brace works. It is plate vs tube. I know these made a big difference to my FD handling

I just took my 99 bumper and some head light covers to Goolsby Customs... Jonathan Goolsby have won ton of awards for doing custom paint and body. This is bit more stock, but I could think of anyone better to paint my car around town.

More information about Goolsby: http://www.myspace.com/customsbygoolsby

His Customs 67' Chevelle will be compete at Optima Battery Ultimate Street Car Invitational which will be airing on SPEED channel this weekend.

I've seen this car in person today and paint is phenomenal. Hope the silver matches well. He is going to consider helping me build my MB FD..

his work looks amazing, I would agree that you probably couldn't have chosen anyone better locally.

Phil, do you still have the CF undersweep for the RE-A bumper? pm me if you do, and are willing to part.

I do But that's what going to be going on the MB FD... If Goolsby takes on the work, it would be a completely different car.

Installed my SSM OEM 99 wing.. Luckily the paint is very close match from newer 99 and 94. I also put in the CF 99 insert (like MS).

Next is pulling out the BNRs and putting in 99 280HP twins..

That looks really nice Phil. I really like that style wing with the CF insert. Which car(s) are you bringing this year to DGRRX?

If the SSM is ready I might bring it up. Otherwise, I might bring up my wife's SUV as I might have to bring stuff up to DGRR this year

So, This is the look I'm going for on the SSM FD.

Minus the MS wheels.. Plus RE carbon rear diffuser, Feed carbon sides, Feed carbon door handles, and my replication of R-spec signals (Just can't find these damn signal lights).

Interior will be my rendering of MS LHD plastics, Spirit R seats, 99+ Steering wheel, and few little updates.

I should be done with this by DGRRX.

I'll also update this thread as I go.

Damn you Phil!

I had almost convinced myself that I didn't want a 99 rear wing, but that pic has we reconsidering...... with my five spoke Fikses, my FD would look similar to that but in VR....

I say go FOR IT!!! I'm a huge fan of 99 wing.. don't know why.. maybe because when the first came out, I wanted an FD just like it.. I had my 99 bumper and wing since 2000

Mike, Glad I could get you more into your car. I see Rich's car and I say to myself, "damn, I need to get off my *** and go polish something"
