Thanks Eddie,
Talked to Bryan from www.BNRSupercars.com and he is going to make me the other pipe so I could use it with Greddy Elbow.. Hopefully this saturday I'll get this bad boy running around town

Seems like you could have modified the upper half of the y-pipe. Maybe clocked it or cut and patched.
Not your taste? You did fab a solution, unsure why you didn't try to optimize the situation
Anyways, it looks good.

smoother bends = less flow restrictions. Having a larger radius bend will flow better and should make up for the increased volume of the intake piping. Not to mention I personally would not want to hack up the piping that came with the kit, same with the efini y-pipe that he's got, the stock y-pipe for usdm cars swivels where the crossover meets, the efini is mounted by two very sturdy bolts.

Anyhow, I got home early and did some more work to the car...

Cut the stock battery tray, mounted the Braille vertical mounting kit, mounted the battery, installed all the radiator hoses, fab'd a simple AST mount and mounted the AST... Now, I'm going to test for any coolant leaks, put the undertray back on, extend the radiator fan connectors, and get BNR to make me another IC piping.
While I appreciate the attempt to educate what appears to be a new member, you should not always judge a book by it's post count and join date. I was interested in Phil's reasoning, not a lesson in fluid dynamics.

I was not trying to be a dick, if I came across that way I apologize. I simply stated the most logical reasons for doing it that way as I assumed, and rightly so it seems, that those were the reasons he chose, primarily the amount of work and effort that would have gone into modifying the y-pipe. It was the same choice I would have made.

Update...
Well, I got everything in and did some warm up and shut down to check to make sure nothing was leaking and hitting the car. So far, everything seems fine

I also decided to make some carbon fiber center caps for the wheels... I hate seeing the hub

He Dale! Thanks for you insight on the Apexi FMIC. All your input really helped me install the IC.
Well, I don't have any pics as of yet as I half *** to get it running.. But so far, the car runs great! much better response for some reason and its running cooler than before with Koyo N flow. I mean, I drove fairly hard for an hour drive around town and it barely broke 86C.
I'll post some pics I took of the car later..

Thanks Kyle! I appreciate the compliment!
SSM - well, I'm getting the engine built as we speak.. I'll take pics as I build up the car. In some ways SSM will be more rare than the MB.
Anyhow, I would like to do a poll to see what you guys like better...
With or without the carbon lip rear spoiler.. I'm leaning towards putting it on as I now have bits here and there carbon.. Also, its not too flashy and sometimes I don't even notice it..
Please post your thoughts.

I go back and forth... Since I already have all kinds of stuff on the car, I almost feel like it would go better with the lip.. Hmm.. I guess I could always go back to no lip...??
