COOL! Please do
What you should do is go through ATL on May 6-8th and you could see the car at the Formula Drift.
This is the year, I'll be installing the 20B

So, here is my plan.. Put my 13B-RE motor w/Aviation seals with BNR twins seq. ran with 99 newer harness with black box, into the SSM with newer RZ tranny.

MB FD will get built 20B, touched up intake with exhaust sleeve replaced with 13B-REW, with Turbonetic T76BB mounted on inconel manifold... deciding on the ECU. And waiting on some parts from Logan.

just my 2 cents on the ecu.
the more and more I look at it, I want to run a microtech with a 20B one day when I'm comfortable financially to do it, but at this point I want another FD with a sunroof to drop it in for the ultimate good weather cruiser/street monster.

I did have Haltech E11v2 and sold it when I heard a rumor about the new Haltech.. But I'm not really sure about the units... But I might go with that as its pretty reasonable and there are some good Haltec tuners out there.
But hwnd recently told me AEM will work with 20B. I'm going to do some search on this and might go with AEM.
I'm also going to get David Garfinkle to make oil pan brace for the 20B. Maybe make it bit thicker than usual to give bit more structural stability of the engine. You might also consider this as longer 20B, more torque/power, the engine needs bit more structural bracing. I think his oil pan brace does both sealing and making the engine bit more structurally sound. I'm going to get him to make 2... and with GROOVES
I think we can make that happen for you Phil. Just don't drive it like it's stolen!
I've probably had more ECUs in the 20B than anyone else. From Wolf, to Haltech, and now to Microtech. Jesus is a Microtech person which is why it's now in the car. He promised me it would work and said he'd put the Haltech back in if I wasn't pleased. The car drive almost OEM like and I am very happy.
Look forward to hearing more about the oil pan brace.
David

David, I would like to drive your car at DGRR if that's possible... as I'm currently open to what ECU to use and such.

David, I'm going to send David my oil pan brace. I talked to him for about an hour this morning about it... and he's going to think about how to make it strong/less flex on the motor.. Kind of having a dry sump pan
mrb63083, Thanks! You should come out to DGRR! This year's DGRRX is turning out to be one amazing event!! Ton of great rotary guys and some historical rotary figures. I think you will truly enjoy this event!

Me too. I also wished I had 5 FDs. My wife isn't letting me buy another car til 2013... Unless something happens to my daily and I have to replace it.. but it would have to be a sedan. Otherwise, 2013 is next time I could buy another car.

Quick question for you, you say you want to run the 99 harness and box. How are you planning to do this?
I have a 2001 Engine/Transmission/Diff in my car, I am using the black box with a new 95 harness +8bit PFC. It is possible.

I'm going to swap out each pins from 99+ harness to 93-95 harness clips.
i got a quick question Phil ( sorry if i sound like a noob), by the looks of it.. is seems like it is OK to paint over carbon fiber? its something Ive always wondered and is seems like your hood turned out real nice.. any downside to this?
