Haha nice, I never feel safe about carrying that much cash, so all my purchases are done in bank checks.

Same here, my first two cars I saved up and bought, the rest where always paid for by a bank check using insurance money from the totaled last car. (when i was younger i was like a magnet for idiots to crash into me)

90 celica(free) > 96 veilside celica(my hard earned cash) > 2000 veilside integra (insurance money) > 1993 mazda rx7 r1 (insurance money, and i refuse to let anyone crash into my baby, although i totaled a ford focus when backing out of a parking spot, only left a few scuffs on my rear bumper, lol)

I was definitely nervous, but the guy said he would only accept cash so its whatever.

95 celica repaired, 95 celica repaired, 95 celica repaired, 93 rx7 repaired, 93 rx7 totaled (fire), 93 camaro took the insurance money and didn't repair it, 93 bmw 525 totaled (took the money, kept the car), 93 bmw 525 totaled (scrap yard)
only the first incident with the celica was my fault, and all but that one and the fire happened while the car was parked in front of my house. I think I've got a curse.

again being real slow with the build... but on Friday I took off my bumper (was a pain clipping all those zipties that held it up) and cleaned out my intercooler the best I could from that oil that got in there from the blown turbo. that's about all I got done on friday as I am having trouble finding a steel pipe that I can make my wastegate adapter from. I mean how hard is it to find a 1 7/8th 45degree short bend pipe! damn. lol

So yesterday with the magical help of MOBEONER the old fuel system and stuff came off. block looks pretty clean. (I mean it was just put in a few months ago)

BUT with my luck its another freaking problem. I have no IDea how this happened and never knew it looked off. the secondary rail is not a FD rail!?!?!?! Might be a FC rail, I have no Idea, I contacted the guy I bought the kit off of and lets see what he says. I hope it was mix up, but I got this so long ago i don't know.

I know fiz-e was waiting on it but i will put him on blast. The reason his turbo doesnt fit quite well is because Its a T70 not a T66 buhahahahahah... blew u up sucka...

RX7King, we gonna need some of your welding skills for a few things on this car..

Thanks Jay, yes unfortunately the turbo turned out to be a t70 and not a t66. guess thats what happens when you buy a turbo off a supra guy!

Rx71king... yeah man, going to hit you up to do some welding... I saw what you did on Jasons BOV, looks good. Will be hitting you up in like 2 weeks!

Any particular reason? I know we usually use the Teflon tape and never had a problem!

aside from the motor build I have a large plan for the exterior of the car... I have been up in the air about what color to paint my car! I have been tossing 3 options around for a LONG time now and I think I found my answer...

I was going either do:
-Black with a little red flake in it
-Porsche GT3R signal green
-Matte black

And after a long debate I am going to be going with the Matte Black look for now! I will be doing a Vinyl wrap on the car so the body work will be done and if I don't like it I can take it off and the car will be ready to paint!

After Speaking to BEN at the Carlisi meet, where he said he was going to attempt it himself, I figured I would do the same after getting insane quotes from shops. SO I said, let me try to do my interior first! and here is my first stab at my center counsel! I got it about 98% perfect! but I am really happy with the results. Thinking I am going to attempt to do the whole car myself!

Also, this color will go well with the CF items I have waiting to go on the car!
