one of two things happen when you leave mobeoner in the garage with a finished car

1- **** gets done!
or
2- **** gets tore up!

My car... from the pictures, looks like a little of both!

Big ups for the help with the wiring harness!

Don't leave stock man, it wil be a mess and look like crap, pull the harness and bring it to me or Ben (muibubbles) and clean that sucker up. Do it once Do it right...

Fiz-e sometimes get paranoid about his car and he also said he was going to leave his harness stock so I just went behind his back chopped it up

Thats the one downfall of sharing a garage with you! one day you just flip out and start ripping **** out of my car, lol. like a harness or a motor... then I get text's sayin check your email and I see pics of what he is doing!

I will be honest, if I wasn't for me telling him that I want to do a lot of the work myself my car would have been done a long time ago.

yea i figured leaving it stock was a bad idea. being since i wasn't really sure what killed my street ported mazda reman motor, its prolly a good idea to rip apart the harness and make sure its in good shape. I've pretty much replaced everything else minus the ignition system yet (other then the plug wires and plugs). So why not!

I got a lil work done on my 7 during this nice dry weekend.

On Friday I got my other parts from rx71king... guy does excellent welding as I stated before and works super fast. I mocked up my wastegate dump tube and I had to hack the DP and adjust the angle and add my Wideband sensor bung (added it right at the bottom of my DP)...

The Dump tube!

The whole DP with the new cut angle!

New Bung holio!

Saturday was my goal day to get the car all done! I was far from done! and now even more frustrated! I now took off from work on Friday to go to my garage and work on the car to try to wrap it up. I am hoping it all goes smoothly. but Here is a pic of the turbo back off and all my fittings for my oil and coolant for the turbo! all I know is that AN hose ends are a B!TCH to get on, the -4 was ok the -6 was a bit harder and the -10 was a PITA.

At the end of the day all I got was the turbo back on and the drain in... BUT of course I miscalculated and the line is at a weird angle and touching the manifold... so I need to loosen it up to move the 45 angle the other way! =(

Everything under the turbo set up!

backing plate... ohhhh so clean.

everything hooked up. ready to go soon!

been hihgly getting unmotivated here! things are going slow and problem after problem... Fuel leak on the primary rail is not a good sign, but hopefully some thicker orings will do the job!

Spark plugs were pulled out and they are rusty! which can not be good! Hoping its not a coolant seal. but looking very slim as to why else the plugs would be rusted! ANY THOUGHTS ON WHY THEY WOULD BE RUSTED! Would they rust just from sitting in the block with no oil too long,

^Is there a high amount of humidity where you have your car stored? Could be just from sitting.

Did you turn the motor over and see if coolant comes out?

Well I wouldn't say crazy humid but it I'd a stone throw from the water. So its a possibility. I hope that's all it is. The car has has had no oil or fluid for 3 month or more while I have been working on the Turbo.

Lets see. Just trying to play out all my scenarios here.

Also, did you leave the uim or lim off? Was it all coolant or was there a mix of water and coolant?

The LIM has been off the whole time and was covered with a towel with a wrench on it... so yes air can get in...

and the turbo and manifold was off for about a month with the exhaust ports open... and then with the manifold on with no turbo for a while! Mobeoner was at the garage when he pulled the plugs and he put some oil into it and turned the rotors both way to lube it up a little!

You say to clean it out? how should I do that? any recommendations!

When I drained the oil like 3 months ago there was nothing else in there... but then again hard to see when your on the ground draining oil into a large bucket with other **** in it! =(

You can remove those blue vacuum hoses looped on the nipples on the LIM. They're just passthroughs and can be left uncapped.

Also, I highly recommend you get a DEI turbo blanket for your setup, and also it's a great idea to heat sleeve all the oil/coolant lines, ABS lines, a/c lines etc. Anything near the turbine housing..... this will really add to longevity and reliability

Thanks on the info on the nipples. I guess I just did not want dust and stuff pilling up in there.

Yeah I have not thought about a turbo blanket yet! I guess I was waiting to get the car running and on and then get one and wrap up all the smaller things. I got some heat shielding material for some spots and a wrap for the DP but not really for the other lines! I will look into that too, I do want the car to be reliable (as reliable as it can be) and I have had heat issues before I started the single set up!

Hey man, welcome to the forum! Communication on the forum is easy... well the best thing to do is search around and see what info is already out there and whats been discussed before asking too many questions... But search the forum and look in the sections that are located closer to you, I am sure you will find people in your area and I am sure there are more than a few that are willing to help out! just start posting up so they know your real and need help! start a thread and you will be up and running with people in no time!

Unfortunately I don't know anyone in the ohio area!?!? but maybe someone will see this and chime in! Good luck man!

Little O-ring big problems... after trying to get the fuel system set up we found the primaries we're leaking... so had to go out and get some bigger o-rings... small difference in size. big difference in no leak!
