yeah i'm using 3M I only bought a small piece so I can test with the interior ****! but I think ima give it a shot on the car man... I got my 99 spec bumper sitting there, not even on the car, I Can do that and not even have down time on the car (aside from the downtime of the single conversion. lol)

I first wrapped a marker before I did the piece... lol... but after a while you get the hand of it... and with my GF's blowdryer, it made stretching it a snap!

So aside from working on the motor and stuff, I have been collection some goodies that will hopefully go on the car real soon. big plans for the outside and inside. but need to get the motor done right... but I figured I would share what WILL be going on the car eventually.

Got some springs to lower the car a little bit, don't need monster truck for ever. Will just go onto m R1 shocks for now. down the line I can always upgrade.

Also picked up a extra set of clean tail lights... soon to be 99spec converted when I find time to hang out with Theorie and do them. one day this year.

Some random goodies from Ray Crowe... I have only had my computer sitting on the floor for about ummm, since I owned the car.

With the big turbo will come some bigger boost. so I needed a boost controller. went the AEM tru boost route for now. should do the trick for what I need it to do.

Went out and got me a PLX M-300 tuner edition Wideband... looks great and need to figure where on the car I will be mounting this bad boy!

Also, was not really planning on getting this, but this was my LATEST purchase... I sold my Yamaha r6 to get some funding for stuff and this is what I got... a brand new HKS twin power ignition system...

And for the body! well, I cannot wait to get started on this, but unfortunately this will be more of a winter project... car is still down and I want to enjoy it a little before the winter hits hard... BUT, as I said earlier I will be attempting to Matte black vinyl wrap this bad boy. but before that happens I am going SHINE SPEC GT front and rear fenders... Going to Mold the rear fenders on, lets see how that goes, seems like a big project.

But I am not going with the front bumper, I seen way to many messed up bumpers here in NYC. going with this 99spec plateless bumper!

Then to eliminate those sideskirts I have I got a full Shine all around CF kit! Just need to get the low profile spoiler!

And I traded in my big box of coins for some cash and swapped my old hood with this nice CF scoot hood. oh yeah... getting some air for that turbo.

Hopefully with all these goodies I Will have one clean sick looking FD. I HOPE. time will tell.

Today I got another Order from Ray Crowe... Won a $50 gift certificate at the Carlisi meet (as I did last year) but decided to use it this year... so I figured IW as redoing some of my interior, and ordered a replacement shift boot since mine was beat up! Looking at it looks like a different construction that the original I had on there. leather is not wrinkly yet since its new, but the stitching is different! no outside seams!

So over the weekend instead of going to E-town, decided to work on the car a little bit! I am waiting on fittings and stuff, so I relocated my radiator. I dropped it about a inch... inch and a half. and moved it over to the driver side wall so my intercooler pipe can clear on the passenger side... pipes fitted in and all looks goooooood....

And I hid that annoying fuse box in the front!

LESSON LEARNED! any plastic tab that can break will break on the rx7. lol. I kinda made a mess here. taking out the center was NOT as easy as the shifter counsel.

An here is it installed on the car with the wastegate!

As I thought my car was getting closer to getting done!!!! WHAPPP some wrong fitting sizes and clearance issues set me back a little further AGAIN!

Just out of curiosity... Why did you move your wastegate further away from your manifold?

Gordon, yeah its coming together now, hopefully soon it will be all done and started! Well, the reason I am going to keep the CF is because I will do the whole outside MATTE and the CF will break it up and ground the from the bottom. (And the matte will get messed up being so low, so the CF underparts will be the protector.

Yeah as Battle Cat said. its for clearance. The Wastegate hits the downpipe with the location on the manifold. so I only had a little bit of room to play with so I made a adapter! I did not want to chop up the manifold.
