The best place is to drop it off at my house with the signed title in the glove box, then the car will not cost you anymore money, or you can drop off that POS red one that is in your driveway. I'm not pickey.

I think you got your own troubles to deal with on yours man. lol and that red POS is now chilling in the mud next to the driveway. hahaha

Hope to see you at some meets this summer or DGRR.

Definately not going to have time to hit the track as often as I want. I hit the drag strip last year one day. So I am going with the make the car look nice and take it to the drag strip that one to two times a year I want to run down the track.

Hope to see you at some meets too, and really trying to make it out to DGRR this year, I have yet to be able to make it.

Time to start my cars transformation. I have a large list of TO-DO's to get done and hoping the need result will meet my expectations. I wanted to get the slave fixed (which I ordered) and take the car out again, but figured why wait, so I cleaned up the new garage to make room to work, and took a final farewell picture of the car in it's current state!

I got a little jump start today on working on the car. after all that snow that fell here in NY got to work in the garage for a little with a nice space heater I got that made the 41 degree weather a stunning 44 degrees o_0

Aside from having some new rims on the car for test fitment!!! I got the front fenders off and the sideskirts which was a PITA to get off because they used rivets to get the sideskirts on, so I had to drill them all out and will give me some extra body work to get get that fixed up.

Turned out it the stainless braided line I had was not the first and last one. it was the line that failed!

Finally installed the new clutch line and the new slave. now, car wont start. No power to my dash and to the PFC which would mean no power to the ECU.

I change the EGI and MAIN fuses. guess I need to look around all the fuses or if something came loose when I was either installing the clutch line or bleeding the clutch and a wire got out.

Always something though... always!

So I figured out what my electrical problem was after changing fuses and looking over some stuff. I look under the passenger fender!! and BAM some little sucker has eaten through about a inch of wiring on my harness, through like 6 wires~

AND to top it off a stack of bins fell over in my garage and at first I did not notice anything, looked like it just missed the new front bumper when I look at my headlight and was like oh I don't remember taking off my headlight cover. Just to realize that the bin fell and broke my feed cover.

After a long and painful testing of electrical wires I finally found the issue. Even though it looked like a mouse had eaten the wires, that was not causing my issue surprisingly. there was a broken junction right past the ignition switch!!!!!

Now I just got to bleed the clutch out, which has been proving to be quite a pain in the butt!

Here are some picks from this years rotor fest. as always a great event. and as last year, I just finished the car up the day before the event. Had the tranny out and had to swap throw out bearing. but got it done and we rolled out and had a blast at the event. Our caravan came in 2nd 3rd and me at 4th/5th in the rotary bracket class.

Here is the video from rotorfest. I slept on the line, but still was my fastest pass and was able to shave off a lot of time off my ET

haven't updated my build in a while. figured I get back on it for a bit. Shortly after rotorfest and the carlisi meet I went ahead and picked up a second FD roller, plans in my head for it were to build a full track car.

Car came with some xxr's with some new BFGoodrich drag radials so I figured, hey, I haven't changed the wheels on my FD since I got the car so why not swap them over to mine to see what they look like and utilize the radials.

So I also figured, hey lets take the car out to the fallnationals in E-town before the season ended and get a few more passes in for some practice and to see if the radials help me out off the line.

The day at the fall nationals was horrible from the start. Weather was iffy, had major delays and waited around all day to get some time runs in. Pretty much in a 8 hour day I got one pass in which I bogged out horribly. and then... this happened:

Blew the diff and leaked out allover the place

Had to get a tow truck to come to the track and then tow me to my cousins house since it would have been a fortune to tow from E-town all the way back to long island.

After sitting at my cousins outside for about two weeks I had to get a rental truck and trailer to tow it back home to start fixing it up.

All in all it was a bad day that turned out to expensive day. But you have to live to learn and that was a learning experience. Launching that high on large 18" drag radials at 8k with a stock torsen diff with nothing but a little banzai brace was not smart.
