The 20B is at Greer Performance having all the body and paint work done.

Cutting the wheel arches in preparation for installation of Pettit rear flares.

Welded back together, almost looks factory. Love the attention to detail for an area that is going to be covered up by fiberglass flares.

Looks great!

We opted not to mold them on this car since there is a much higher chance of cracking with all the power it makes. We will be molding the side skirts into the flares however.

Well, here is one I saw without molding the Pettit flares. It hurt my eyes (a little)…
I did go blind momentarily after seeing the V8 under the hood…

I have gone back and forth, there are many pictures of cars with the flares bolted on that look great. The good news is that if I can't stand how they look then I can always have them molded on later.

Exactly. I had the same thought so I bolted my on and then the look grew on me over time. Now I like it better than having them molded in. I was going to have a metal set made and then weld those on so they wouldn't crack but I'm happy with the bolted on look.

Test fitting wheels, looks like we will now be able to lower the car an inch or more.

I think the stock wheels look great! you should keep them.

Nice to see the progress on the FD. I know your not rushing the work, but do you have a finish date?

It is in the paint booth which means we are getting close. I am guessing somewhere around the end of the month. Like you said I am not in a rush, I would rather have it back flawless than fast.
