What is this beeping?

Last week on a cold night I hit boost pretty good, just hit it a couple of times, not too hard but enough to get it up some, and after I did it my car started beeping. Then I did it again later and it did it again? What is that beeping noise mean? It only did it when I accelerated hard.

Your coolant might be getting low so when you accelerate hard it moves the coolant away from the scensor causing it to beep. In short its a low coolant buzzer.

No, it was a pattern of beeps, like 5 beeps then it would quit. So I need to add coolant? I am on a fairly new engine would that have anything to do with it?

Just double check the coolant just to be safe. Also did you burp all of the air out of the coolant when you installed your new engine?

I think 5 beeps is from something else - like the power steering, or some other system. Do a search and see what you can find - I've heard that one before. I don't think it's the coolant buzzer or redline buzzer.
