87 t2 fan light

87 t2 fan light

I took a look at a 87 t2 and the only thing i could find wrong was a red fan light comes on and beeps

There is no "beeping fan light" on any FC, so keep looking for what's wrong.

power steering beeps, the fan light is kinda useless. the fan is fitted to A/C equipped cars and reads the resistance of the fan motor windings. if the fan motor is dead or the motor was taken out then the light will stay lit. kinda useless anyways since that fan does jack all **** for airflow. just remove the bulb and be done with it.

for the beeping, youll need to count the beeps and look up the power steering related code in the FSM. it is likely a faulty pressure sensor since the wiring to the pump always breaks off at that sensor.

was allways wondering about that fan light, ive only had 1 t2 that had it, all the rest did not, but they all had AC( not working of course)

the car with it was an 87 and had ABS, power steering and ac.
