Disconnected Hose...please help identify. ..

Ok. Completed my koyo n-flo upgrade but found a disconnected hose at the start of the upgrade process and want to make sure I didn’t inadvertently bump something off - which physically shouldn’t happen because everything is locked down in the bay. Previous owner didn’t know also. (I’m owner #3). I Found a long freaking hose ( hks Logo)running from the back area of the intake manifold that appears to have been disconnected intentionally for some reason or another. (new owner)
Can anyone please identify the purpose of the hose and why it’s living life out on its own? (Yellow line)Thanks in advance.

Ok. U got me moving in the right direction. Not quite sure why it’s vented. I have an air pump, downpipe and hi flow cat. I guess the hose is disconnected and allowed to vent because of the hi flow cat?

That is for the ACV, I noticed you have an aftermarket intake. The stock intake box has a place for the hose to connect to, usually draws air from that location, not it looks like (if I followed it correctly) it just draws air from the engine bay.

Thanks for the confirmation also. But if disconnected that means it’s drawing unfiltered air. Is that a problem? Was it connected to a filter cone in the stock box or just the stock box direct? Was the stock box a fully closed compartment? I can’t remember anymore. Thanks to all in advance.

Is it connected to the cat? I deleted all that stuff with block off plates. You might consider this if emissions isn't a concern

It didn’t appear to be connected. It is a long running hose zip tied to part of the intake tubes and I think it was venting under the car behind the radiator. (Passenger side). I will do a double check again today to see if anything appears suspicious. I did find some posts on block off plates. Will look into that too. Thanks.

Finally found a thread with the reason for the hose. HKS intake setup again.
Thanks to all who chimed in. Issue closed.
