So what they are selling is a plug that plugs up the trailing spark plug ( I read that right. . right??).

How in the hell would eliminating two spark plugs help reduce detonation??

Make sure to buy an extra set for your leading plugs as well! You'll never blow another apex seal again!

HuH???

Applying the TrailPlug® to rotary engines with stock engine management is easy, simply remove the stock trailing spark plugs, screw in the TrailPlug®, and disconnect your trailing coils.

Is that just a plug to seal up the Trailing plug hole? Or does it actually fire?

That's all it is?!! No wonder KD didn't want anyone to know because it's so easy to duplicate.

U guys are pretty bad and ruthless.

First, it's not that this isn't snake oil.

I have seen folks disconnect the trailing plugs 4 years ago on and didn't seem to detonate at 15psi.

No one really knew why since he was running stock injectors and stock ECU.

Just a boost controller.

Anyways, it's patent pending (for those of u trying to copy and commercialize it)

I don't think that's too far out of line, considering the amount of R&D that must have went into this product. They have to pay for all that research somehow. Before I clicked the priceing I guesstimated it's cost at $500.

Hey, it takes a lot of work to lathe down the ends of two large screws-you have to buy the screws . . .carry the screws to the lathe. . . . .

Of course they probably don't refer to it as a 'lathe' but a magical money making machine.

If this product is really the miracle device these guys wouldn't create a Limited Liability Corporation to prevent themselves from being sued, even especially that they load up with disclaimers.

Note also how they set up the whole thing so that they buy from another company "Danco" (which is probably an off-shore company) to have twice or three times remove their liability.

If this **** is so good, why don't they stand behind their products instead of layering on protections?

In any case, why would Mazda use three plugs per cylinder in their 4-rotors Lemans car when one is just as fine according to these guys?

There may be other perimeters in the Le Mans car that we don't know of.

better fuel and tuning is certainly high on the list.

at any rate, machining, R&D and making alittle $$$ for that device is not that bad.

Oh man, these guys are real web artist. Why?

go to their website and click on any other products other than this "butt plug"

There is nothing there!!!

The website appears to be set up to give an image of a retailer.

How come SHyde don't have it on his car?

Better bring some KY Jelly - these Butt plugs(TM) will hurt when you first insert them.

It really makes sense that this would help with detonation. I just can't see how they can get away with asking $450 for some butt plugs. I think you could just disconect your trailing coils and leave the plugs in, not much differnce.

Are we sure that this is the anti-det device by KDR or just some scam. Are we making assumptions here? I don't see any connection with KDR? What am I missing?

Or you could use your existing spark plugs and just disconnect them, for free.

Your statement about seeing others do this 4 years ago gives an inference that this thing is not patentable.

Hah, hah, just for kicks, I'm going to look it up at the USPTO to see it's status. The USPTO has a provision where the public can submit prior art against the application to clue the Examiner in as to whether the application is patentable or not.

Your statement makes a great declaration of prior art against this invention as you're a member of the public.

I agree with Batman

I hope I never have to deal with the personal issues both financial and emotion that Skip is contending with.
If most people knew of his plight, there might be more empathy to his cause.........
