Chips are for VW's and Honda's, Rx-7's don't respond to the chip. Only gains would be from stand alone (and they're minimal at best unless you plan on further mods, then you see results), but that's obviously big bucks.
I have a superchips ECU. www.mdrace.com used to carry them, not sure if they still do. The gains were noticable, but nothing really major. I got mine used for pretty cheap, I think they are like $300 new, and IMO anyway ots not worth that much, your better off buying a S-AFC.
I was curious on this as well, as the Superchip in the SVT Contour really plumped up the torque curve.
From this, I'm under the impression they're best for multivalve engines...
and Rxmfn7, the only word I can make from N.O.S. is "cheating".
