Question about octane with reprogrammed ECU

Ive been running my Superchips ECU (From the once MD-Race, the auto-X version) for a while now, but havent been sure what octane fuel would be best to use. Ive been sticking with the 87 that I always used, but with the reprogrammed fuel and ignition curves, would a higher octane (93 or so..) be a good idea? MD race doesnt even seem to be in business anymore, so I cant contact them, and Ive tried Emailing Superchips, but never get a response.

I doubt it'll matter...
I don't think the NA's come with knock sensors?&nbsp If they do, the higher octane might allow slightly more power under 4kRPM...

I know that with a reprogrammed ECU from JetChip.com, they recommended using higher octance (91)
