And even put a bit of oil in the lower plug hole. If you have some two stroke oil try that if not then use regular motor oil.

The smoke is to be expected. How long did the car run before conking out? If you can get the car started play with the gas pedal to help keep it running if you haven't been doing so. You might want to deflood it again and try again.

When you charge up the battery try jumpering a wire at the Circuit Opening relay. Look at post #166 in the following link and jumper the solid Black wire in the lower left to the Brown wire in the bottom left and then try to start the car. This relay is located below the dash and just to the right of the steering column. Doing this jumper will cause the fuel pump to run when the key is turned to on so don't leave the key in that position unless you are starting the car as it might flood the engine if you leave it in the on position.

Just a plain piece of wire long enough to reach, which should probably be no more than three inches in length.

You would have to get the car started for the jumper I asked you to do to show if it would help or not and not until then.

When is the last time you deflooded the car? Have you checked the CAS as suggested. Do you know where you could borrow a fuel pressure gauge to check your's against spec. Did you depin 3B?

I have no idea where to get a Fuel pressure gauge except to buy one. I did depin 3B like you said to.

And the CAS?

are you turning the key the entire time ur starting it? or until it seems like its going to start and then stop? i have to turn the key until the engine finally starts and revs over 2 grand at least. it just sounds as if ur flooded but ur not properly starting it up. when its flooded like this you have to continue cranking it over until you can rev it up..... like if you have the pedal all the way down and you start it. if it starts it will rev up until you take ur foot off the pedal. watching ur first vid again you turn the key until you suspect its going to start and the rpms doesnt even hit one grand. turn the key while ur foot all the way down until it revs past 2 grand then stop turning the key. hod down the pedal until ur white smoke clears from the exhaust and you should be fine. my car flooded this morning. i had to do this.

The tach requires the trailing coil unless an additional jumper is used.

The plug that comes from the CAS which is very short is the one you use and not the other one.
