Do you have an LED light that they sell at such places as Radio Shack for $2?

You still havent ruled out the AFM meter yet.... you could have a problem in the wiring harness. You've got the multi meter and that is a good thing at least. Backprobe pin 2E at the ECU and see if you get any voltage there. With the key to ON you should see around 4 volts.

can you link a diagram of the pins so I know which one 2E is?

I guess the good news is that we are running out of things that arent wrong with the car right?

2E = middle plug, top row, third from the right, which is Green/Blue, just to the left of Mr. Blackwire.

You'll also want to get a reading from other pins as well.

Pin 2A Brown/White = 5 volts w/key to on
Pin 2J Green/Orange = 2 to 3 volts when air temp is 68 degrees w/key to on.

Well it's not good as it should read 4 volts. So you measured the Green/Blue wire located just to the left of the Black wire?

You're getting values which are half of what they should be. Is your battery about dead? How about charging the battery overnight and trying to get some better reeadings tomorrow. Pin 3J is the smallest plug and the wire is White/Blue located bottom row far left corner. This gives the reading of the battery and it should read 12 volts w/key to on.

Also use either of the two mounting bolts of the ECU as your ground. There is one in the front right of the ECU and the front left as well.

Not needed for the pins you are measuring. If it were the TPS pin then that would be different. There is another member on another thread getting the proper readings from the same pins as you are and he is doing so with the key to on as his car cannot start either.
