I haven't received them from Mael yet. But trust me, I'll even take the time out of my birthday celebration tonight to post them up if that's when I get them.

And I just want to remind everyone that if you buy any of our other products when you buy the hood then we'll be able to cut down the price some. So if any of you are in need of gauge pods, or a fiberglass sunroof panel then give me a shout!

I dont think the steel latch would work on this hood - FG\CF is so much lighter.

An aluminum hood latch will probably do the trick.

We are still looking at the latch issue. But there are some concerns:
1. Proper universal fitment. All of our cars are old and without a doubt the hood latches are not all the same anymore.
2. Safety. If we do put a hood latch on this hood then several people wouldn't bother with hood pins. And if the latch gives way then that opens up a big legal battle that we don't want to fight.

We are trying to work something out, but we'll see. At best a latch would be offered as an option, but that's not 100% as of yet.

i say no latch. Done deal. They make nice clips for hoods these days, just run pins, and be done with it.
