my brother fell in love with FD's and when i came to the rx7 world i fell on love with FC's... i guess theres something i like about older women lol jk. ive always liked the rx7 and i bought my current/first 7 for 1500. it was a little beat up but i couldnt beat a rebuilt motor that was running stong... rather then the mint condition ones with a blown apex or coolant seals...

ive only owned this car for about 8 months and ive already spent triple what i bought it for doing work on it lol. when people say this car can be a money pit, they mean it. but i love this car and would never get rid of it...

I fell in love with the FD in high school. Then when I started going to car meets after I graduated, I discovered there is a cheaper version of the rx7
Fc's have just kinda grown on me since.

My brother unintentionally got me into them, he started really getting into cars when he bought his 02 WRX and that's pretty much when I started loving imports as opposed to the mustangs I was raised to love by my dad. Well he had to sell the WRX and instead bought a 97 240sx, this whole time I couldn't really drive yet but I was trying to decide what I should get when that time came. I wanted a RWD or AWD car and since subies were too rich for my blood I started looking at older MR2s, Supras, 240s and FCs. I then narrowed my choice down to an s13 or an FC...I firmly beleive I made the right decision

I found my first FC while I was looking through a junkyard for other car parts. I was casually browsing through the repairables section, when this dark silver car caught my eye. The junkyard guys had no desire for the car, since they had no idea how the "mysterious rotory engine" works. $500 latter (and who nows how much more in parts and time) I found myself with a nearly perfectly functioning FC. They are sooo addicting, and it is such a pleasure to drive a car that you rebuilt and brought back to life

Why did I? Because I actually like that body style the best, although the FD easily has a much nicer interiour.

Hm. I first caught a glimpse at them playing one of the Gran Turismo games, but always chose the FD's because they were faster, even though I liked the FC styling more. Initial D wasn't the reason I bought one, but it's the reason I looked at them when I was looking to buy another car. I did some research, and kinda fell in love. Test drove a clean stock s5 vert, and was hooked. The next day I drove 4.5 hours to get my TII, and drove 5.5 hours back (Portland traffic). First manual car. They are sooo addicting. I drove it for a month or two, the coolant seals were shot. It sat for a while, then I dropped a large amount to get it running again. It's been...4 months or so now since it went in to get a new engine, but the sound and performance keep me strong.

FWIW, I hate FWD cars. What a waste. And probably will never look at a 240 either. Eww. I always hate how FC's are compared to them. It's not even a choice. When I get the money though I will have an FD.

like most of you guys from what ive read, I fell in love with the FD at first

My dad always liked the FC better and I never understood why. I had been saving and working for the FD for a while untill a few months ago my DAD found this GXL for 3000

The guy kept it in Mint condition, he never even drove it in the rain.

There are very few 7's in detroit that weve ever seen, so we took the offer while we had the chance. We talked the guy down to $2500 and paid the down payment.

I was supposed to raise half the cost by the end of Jan.
But just today i was suprised with a check to pay off the balance!!!
So starting today everyone, I officially have enough to buy it!

Ill be sure to post the pics this week after I pick it up

Because I feel in love with the car at first sight.

I found it beautiful and it was fun from the first time I drove it.

I am secretly part mexican so the weedeater sounding exhaust attracted me to the car immediately.

But seriously, I dont know exactly, there are a bunch of different reasons for my first one, but then as i went farther down the road I started actually liking the car more and more. Even to this day I go and sit in my T2 just like i did with my first rx7 and just dream about doing something great with the car or becoming famous in it, and out of all the cars I have ever driven it is the only one I keep going back to again and again, and the only car I can dream in.

Because I needed a car, and a friend told me that some guy was selling his 88 GTU for $900. Car was a piece, but the second I drove it, I was in love...for life.

Never looked back.
