even though I don't live at home, my dad never parks in the driveway so I have a parking spot in case I visit. Before I even get out of the car my brother is already out the house to greet me and to tell my dad I'm visiting. My dad asks my brother "how'd you know she was here?" my brother replies "Whenever she drives up the whole house shakes" but that was before, my car is not drivable right now.

Same can be said about a NEGLECTED rx7.

When the car was about 80 percent completed, it was bulletproof. Turbo was perfectly matched to the stock bottom end and up to 10psi on an s16g evo III snail.

This was an rs model that didn't have the 4g63. 420a n/t. 9.5:1 cr (iirc).

Not bad for a 13 second car that had the potential to run 12's without touching the motor or tune.....

Well, if it was an N/A on the stock engine, that's not terribly far off...

140 stock, new. At the age of these cars now, it's not going to be making that anymore. And yes, that's flywheel. Now on a turbo car, obviously things are different; but a guess of 120 HP (flywheel) on a 20+ year old N/A? Probably pretty close.

Was out driving in a small convoy of mates along the sea front near where I used to live. It was hot so the windows were down which was great as if they weren't I wouldn't of heard this classic fail from one of the guys in the group.

We were coming to a junction, and I could hear him saying:
"Yeah, Celica, MR2, 180sx and a Supra(my FC)!!

So i shouted out my window "It's an RX7 retard" and his mates laughed at him.

Made me smile

so far the only thing i've gotten is from my neighbor, he said it sounds like an overgrown weedwacker.

oh and due to the suspension bushings being so crappy and it rides like poop it has been appropriately nick named the sloppy cougar, cause its sexy, but sloppy on the inside.
hopefully one day the sloppy cougar will just be a tight skank!

I guess that's a funny/random/stupid thing about the FC

Dude the little half inch OD pipe. Connects the intake to the BAC and FIdle? Was in the same situation and put a clean socket into the a hole and stuffed my tobacco in there. I so hope you are talking about the same pipe because that would be epic.

I was at work today talking to a good buddy of mine about rebuilding rotary engines and mentioned apex seals and he was like, "Apex'i must make good seals, everybody uses them". I just laughed and told him they were apex seals, not Apex'i seals and that all rotarys came with them from the factory, and would not function without them. He was a little embarest and just said "Oh" and walked away.

It's not about an FC, but my buddies FD. We were at an Auto-X day and there were a few mazda 6's and I think a miata or two. So there was this family of people sitting watching and my girlfriend heard them talking. Apparently they said "There are so many Mazdas here... What's that one?" as the point to my friends FD.
