For every Prius I see, I let my RX7 idle an extra 10 minutes, because somebody has to combat the smug

 

For everyone I see, I redline it just 1 more time than I normally would. :p

Which on my car... emits enough smoke to blind a city block.

 

ok befor i say what happend let me just say i finally got my fc back on the road.i have a bdc built halfbridge port motor big turbo and more mods then i should have lol...any how as most of you know the bridge port motor has a very lumpy idle ...ok heres the store



i went out to a local meet .pulled in shut the car off (turbotime stillkeeping it runing for a few)

and a guy with a mustang walks over and asked me what kind of v 8 i had swaped in the the fc..i poped the hood and told him its just a 1.3 rotory motor and he kind turned his head sideways and asked me how i got it to sound like a v8 with a big cam>>>>....

 

oh absolutely!

So I did emission deletes and I removed the bac valve too so the metal tube on the back of the thottle body was taken off.. I had that sitting out side...

I broke my cigarette.. I looked around and I saw that tube.. I managed to use it as a tobacco pipe..

I guess that's a funny/random/stupid thing about the FC

Not FC related but reminds me of somethin that happened last week. I was at this chicks house hangin out. I ask for a glass of water, she says of course, we head to the kitchen. To where she says, I have Arizona Ice Tea. I say, "hell yeah, unless you only have a couple left, I don't wanna jack all ur tea" To where she replies. "Well don't worry, cause I have these huge jugs" ...... I pause and look at her smiling, "Well I definitely like big jugs", while my eyes were drifting elsewhere. It was pretty funny

 

Haha nice anybody watch world news tonight on ABC?? They were in ATL doin a report on a white lady running for mayor. she's standing near a car when I relize its an Red S4 TII RX7... that's tight!!! Anyone from atl with a red tII u have one sexy car!!! I figured its s4 cuz the side molding was black and looked thick . It had some factory wheels on it!

 

I got this cause I wanted to! but I have been driving, owning, working on Rx7's since 1998-99 some where around that year i finally grew a coin purse to get a tat in 2009 lol but there it is and the questions I get asked I couldn't start to tell. anyone else have rotary or related tats?

ok this is one that killed me i had to laugh and get mad all at the same time...friend i know:

me: well all rotaries sound like that its an rx7 they all came with rotary motors
friend no they didnt the rx8 came with a v4
me: no rx8 came with a piston engine what are you talking about?
friend: the japan version in 1998 came with a v4 i know what im talking about
me: no you dont you drive a mitsubishi vr4 and you stated you dont know anythingabout rotaries
friend: yes i do i can prove it
me: prove it? better yet ill prove your wrong, do you know what the rx stand for?

me: the rx stands for rotary power so why would mazda put anything in a car that stands for rotary power and on top of that the rx8 didnt drop until 2003/2004 and the 1998 rx was a 7 and it was twin turbo and no your stupid vr4 cant beat it............

showed him a video of a vr4 racing a fd and the vr4 got spanked 4 times

 

my answer to that one was I was working on my piston engine when I was abducted by aliens!

Correction, "RX" does not stand for rotary power, it stands for Rotary eXperiment. Just thought you should know

 

my favorite was when a kid said a motor wont work without pistons.... hahaha. but rotarys dont have pistons... lol

Back like 3 months ago, I had both the FC's sitting out in the street.
I was sitting in the red one, trying to figure some stupid issue out.

Some guy came up and started talking about how the motors in Rx7s were built to beat big blocks, and are perfect for drifting.
He then made a fool of himself.
My red FC is mini tubbed with a for 9" under it. Running 28x12.5" tires.
The back sits like 5 inches higher then the back, and my front tires are like inches wide.

The dude had been looking at the car for like 10 minutes now, yet he still asked me if I built it for drifting....

My tires were down at around 12psi. So I told him to look at the back tires, and I shook the car a bunch so he could see the wrinkle walls flexing.
He looked for like 30 seconds, laughed, then said "I think I ran those tires when I drifted my 350ss"
350ss? lulz.
I told him it was cool, then let him know I had to go get gas. No **** he had to watch me drive off. I goosed it in the sand infront of my house when I went around a turn and "drifted". Im sure he loved it.

 

^you should tell em some motors use vanes too, and to get his terminology right, just because detroit does it, doesnt mean its right

 

Never had anyone complain about my auto seatbelts...

Got a friend staying with me from Australia and we decided to go to the mall in my FC. First she look at me weird when I tell her its loud and bouncy and makes all kinds of cool sounds hahaha. Then She gives me another weird look when she sees my Solex door locks. I open the door and she gets in, looks around for a bit then asks whats wrong with my seatbelts LMAO!!!!!! I explain they're automatic and they will come down on their own when she closes the door. She closes the door, they make their way and she looked at it coming towards her in horror as if to ask "Will it stop or just take my head off? HAHAHAHA She said they dont have those in Australia... i got a kick out of it and hearing her comments as my BOV went off and the popping of the exhaust.

 

us is the only place that got the auto belts i think haha. we didn't get them here in canada either.
