The throttle response is very nice and crisp! Everytime I do a high speed stop with heel/toe downshifting, its hard to describe the total rush and amazment it provides. None of the turbo cars or other n/a cars I've ever driven can even come close to matching it. P-ports are delayed again, I spent some of my extra cash on a CLEAN 2nd gen for a new daily driver, my current FC is rusting badly, so the replacement will be nice. BUT, once I get the ecu figured out, I will be back on schedule making more power! I am shooting for 355 rwhp w/ p-ports @8600rpms, so we will see right?

 

Guys, if you have nothing to contribute to this thread, please don't start trouble on it. It started out as a fantastic thread on something not too many people have done. Congrats on the car. As for the others, don't post, if you just want to start trouble and mess a thread up.

I have found that the further you go from normal, and do something different, people love it or hate it, black or white. The grey area is minimal. As for Blueoval351, and Nihilanthic, they have different taste, and I am fine with that, but I feel respect goes further than words do. Yeah, you know you don't have to like something to respect it. I wish I was anywhere near your area, I'd LOVE to see the car in person and go for a ride. I hope you hit at least 350 whp. If I had an N/A triple rotor, that would make me very happy to be putting that much power to the ground. A great, unique engine with plenty of power for the street and for drift.

Damn, now you've got me thinking about putting one in my FC again...

 

I dont think anyone would regret having a n/a 20b built properly. Its a worth miles of smiles.

 

not to get out of hand or repeat something that has already been said, but how bout posting pictures of a real car? with the engine swap? not just some fantasy car you fream of in your head and look up on paper. paper is alot different from real life, onpaper bee's can not f;y, but holy **** one just stung me cause it's flying, you really need to pull your bowling ball sized head out of your *** cause it stinks the whole forum. no matter how indifferent his car is from your "dream car" have respect, i don't agree wiht all the little ricers the crowd the streets but they still love cars and hell that good enough for me to talk to them, we are not part of a special "elite" group that can afford what ever we want, hell i'm a college student with no money and no job yet, but hell have respect or people are gonna walk over you and treat you the way you treat them, like a sack of ****, so grow up or get off the fricking forums, no one loves a hater so either shut up or go away.




By the way GtoRx7 ****ing sweet car the engine is a work of art even though i don't completly understand it, props to guys who do thier own thing and make everyone else look twice, and wonder why.

woah, thats definitely him but i didnt film it. I was there and I was in the car in that last run. Thats a terrible representation of his drifting, especially considering how bat that original cone set-up was. it was set up for like, stock 240's. After they got rid of all the cones you could tell he did ten times better, but thats weird that someone made a video dedicated to his car that I dont think he even knew about.

On the 8th day GOD created the 20b's exhaust note.

Oh yea, how were your engine temps holding up during those drifting sessions?

 

G*ddamn, that exhaust sounds like sex. ****. . . . OoooOOOoOoh. . . . N/A 20B. . .. damn. . . .i can't . . . .oOOOOOh

 

The temps stayed solid at about 185-190 Degrees F. Its running ultra cool, and getting much better gas mileage now that its well over 6000 miles on it. On the way back from michigan to ohio, I averaged 21mpg, and was running the **** out of it most of the way, averaging 95-100 mph! It was a fun last run for the year, its been put away for the winter, hopefully going to break out next year in a much more fiercer form.

 

Can't wait to see her next year... pports and all...

Also, if anyone has the piece for boardwalk from mcdonalds, if you want to go halves, we could have 2 more 3 rotor N/A 7's in this poorly deprived world...

 

Very impressive GtoRx7! looks like you may need to practive a little more on the drifting though haha, just messing with ya. I would kill for this set up! but for me road racing is the only way to go. Congrats on the project and best of luck with it in the future, I can't wait to see the results from the pports.
