You must be getting anxious, Dan!!

One small tip - I noticed you have your Air Filter bolted directly to the turbo. When I did that with the original K&N's, the rubber would
melt/break.

I had to place a piece of aluminum in-between, sandwiched by silicone connectors.

[air filter]-[silicone connector]-[aluminum pipe]-silicone connector]-[turbo inlet]

The wheels were just about $800 dollars each.

Thanks for the tip Directfreak, I am planning on using a silicone coupler to locate the air filter further to the side of the engine bay.

Oh, that is not too horrible. Have you had a chance to weigh them?

IIRC they are under 20 pounds a piece. Lighter than you would think for the size of them.

Not too terrible? $3200.00 for a set of wheels is more than most of the first gens on this site

Yeah expensive, but they basically were exactly what I needed to finish the exterior of the car.

Gotta do what ya gotta do. Do you ever wish you had an FD? I mean the cost involved in your car is well over a built FD by now, just a question...

I considered getting a FD at one point but I like this car better. There is not one car in the world that is the same as this. Unique and I am all about the old school simplistic styling.

Long story short I am really happy to see it coming together like this and I hope some others like it as well when I enter it in some car shows coming up here. Should be a good multipurpose car, fast on the street, good on the track, great at the dragstrip and able to be shown off at the end of the day.

Interior is basically a modified stock look. Most things are from the factory interior but I have modified it to with the aftermarket components I have added, a power inverter, laptop, wideband, gauges, steering wheel, shift **** etc etc. Tasteful needed stuff that has been put in, in a decent way thats very street worthy.

God! I'm so spiteful right now. I'm 18 and have to wait till next month to get a job at an auto body and refinishing place....graphic auto..... They have some tricked out rides. Aww man, I'm soo slow with my own project, I'm stuck in apartments right now and can't put what I want in my car right now. I HATE PEOPLE THAT STEAL THINGS FROM OTHER PEOPLE!!!! Jeez I can't even work on my car without having people gawk at me and ask me all sorts of things. I wish I had a nice garage where I can pull me engine, rethink my suspension and steering and trick out my ride.....WHAT IS HAVING HASSIS EXPERIENCE WHEN YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT!!! man I need a garage and some piece of mind that my car won't be broken into just to get something out of the interior, even worse, the engine bay!....quick question, that an SE originally if so is that the 6 port and if it is I didn't know that the 3rd gen type intake system was compadable with the intake of the NA se..... atlest without some tweaks. I gotta know.

The car is a GSL-SE. The engine is a S5 TII turbo with a S4 rotating assembaly. I am using a TII S5 LIM than an adapter plate that allows me to use the S6 upper intake manifold, throttle body and greddy elbow.

yummy. I barely have enough money to buy the engine but not the space to install. I'm stuck with the og six port. I hope to someday do a swap.

Thanks. It's so close but I cut the funding for it for a month to buy a dirt bike. Will hopefully still be ready for spring/summer time.
