Haha yes it was what I said last year. Hopefully this time I crack down, and don't buy another dirt bike pulling me away from getting it done.

Interior needs to be finished, bunch of wiring, brake hardline to the rear brakes, need the rear windows put it, a new windshield. Exhaust, there is a few odds and ends for sure.

Parts wise I think I have everything I need and then some, and then some more... so hopefully the big spending is over for now.

Very slowly unfortunately. Thanks for checking in! I have slowed down with the project a bit since I recent bought a house and alot of my time and money is going into it. I have since lowered the rear of the car more, but thinking about maybe getting new CCW polished lips that extend the rims out an inch or two more. Also tossing the idea around of getting some cheaper 15X15 inch rims and throwing some mickey thompson slicks on.

Basically the things remaining on the car are: wiring for brake lights, exhaust from the downpipe back, and finding a couple hard to get brake fittings. Finally I really would like to find another headlight solution. The CP racing kit I have is so poorly made that it will take away from the rest of the car which is a shame.

Thanks so much for interest and keeping up with this thread, alot of time and money has gone into this car, and it WILL be finished. It all just a matter of time and finding the right days. (I am a mechanic so it's sometimes my last interest to work on a car when i'm finished in the evening)

If anyone has suggestions for how to hook up rear brake lines I would love to hear them, my issue is going from mazdas double flared setup to a 3 an line. But I am replacing the whole hard lines, so I just need to find some proper adapters...

with my 8.8, I didn't use adapters... I just cut them and flared them myself... and used the -3 fittings

My issue is I have wilwood brakes in the rear, which take a 1/8"NPT threaded fitting. Also I am running a linelock that takes the 1/8"NPT fitting. I am just unable to find brake hardline that has the fittings I need on either end. Maybe I am just not looking hard enough, I don't like how I have it setup right now though, too many adapters, it's a mess.

Basically need hardline from each of the rear calipers to a T, then a foot long SS braided line, and more hardline up to the linelock.

It's sad that no one has stepped up to the plate for a better flushmount headlight setup, it's a more difficult thing to produce. There is a market for it though, and the CPracing kit really does not cut it.

My Aerospace brakes also take a 1/8 NPT on the calipers. Take a look at what I did, just make your own lines.

lol, won't be for a little while that it's actually road worthy. Still working out a couple of issues with the microtech, wiring everywhere inside and the exhaust situation... A 4" downpipe isn't too streetable lol.

Drove the car for the first time in three years of owning it today!!! Sucks that it has to be put away for the winter, but it will give me a chance to finish the wiring. Spring 2010 this beast will hit the streets.

I'm surprised by that, the Flushmount kit looks to be an easier design than say a true sleepy eye (low profile) kit. I would think that someone has managed to come up with some good designs... Hmm...
