Yea, I've been drawing up ways to fabricate my own... I mean, it can't be that hard right? Really all you need are the proper lights with the right wiring harness and then a proper frame/housing that fits into the wells where the original buckets sat.

I have been thinking on making my own lights, but I just want to check out what i can get to buy first, what i think is that I've gonna create my own, beacause then i get it excactly in the way I want them to be.

Hey guys thanks for all the good words. The flush mounts are from CP racing, and like was mentioned they are very low quality and I don't recommend them. I had to redo mine completely, repaint the buckets, make new plexi covers, replace 2 of the lights (cracked), and still have fitment issues.
As far as ceramic seals go, I did consider it, especially because NRS seals is located here in Edmonton. But have decided thats not the direction I want to go for a few reasons (if anyone is wanting to know in further detail why PM me).
Scott, it would be awesome to meet up with you. Only problem is you would be on the wrong side of Canada, I'm pretty far west.

Thanks.
I'm trying to get the engine finished this weekend. I have the irons back from being ground, but I ran into a problem. During final assembaly of my rotors one of my side seals snapped. So I need to pick up another side seal from a local friend of mine on the weekend.
Heres a picture of the iron and the streetport.

I'm a man of my word, well the engine is mostly completed. I just need to find a 54mm socket to torque the flywheel. Also the oil pan, oil pump, front cover need to be installed.
I broke one side seal in the process of building the engine (rotor was slightly damaged in one area causing the side seal to get pinched). Luckily I have a friend locally that really help me out and gave me another side seal!
Here's a few pictures. I'm so excited to finally have this thing together and not sitting all over my floor!

Some updates, pulled the GSL-SE stock rear end out of the car this weekend. Waiting on the grannies 8.8" setup that I ordered. 4.30 gears, 31 spline axles, stock width diff, Ford caliper brackets, driveshaft loop, can't wait!
Anyways got the engine in the car a while ago and realized I should have painted the engine bay. After doing some talking with Scott (Trochoid), I decided to go with Dupli-color truck bed liner in the engine bay. Here is some before and after pictures. IMO turned out AWESOME, especially considering it costed about 25 dollars...

Bit by bit the engine bay is getting there. Still alot of odds and ends though, I have quite a few stainless steel braided lines still to make...
Waiting on a piece of intercooler piping and i'm going to have to order some couplers coming up here. Waiting on the funds to order a microtech LT10S, bosch coils, 3 bar map sensor, laptop adapter etc. Rewiring basically the whole car, so hopefully I can make the engine bay nice and clean.
Heres what it's looking like at the moment.
Unfortunately i'm basically at a stand still with the engine bay, winter is coming and I need the car rollable so it can be trailered for storage. So i'm waiting on the grannies 8.8 TA/SA kit to come, wilwood rear brakes, and CCW classics. All ordered and i'm playing a big frusturating waiting game...

Look Great Dan!
What's that on the passenger side firewall? A 2nd Oil Filter?
Your alternator and Strut-bar might have some diagreements over space.
I really like the "Truck-Bed" paint in the compartment, but I was told
by some others who've tried it (locally) that it won't work well with the turbo's heat. That it would drip/melt/flame, etc.
I am anxious to see how yours hold up, to see if they were full of it or not.

Thanks for the compliments Alex, it means tons coming from you.
Yes that is a second oil filter before the turbo just in case anything happens to the engine and the oil gets contaiminated it does not take out the turbocharger as well. I got the second filter setup from Robert (rotaryshack).
I'm going to be using a turbo blanket, and wrap the exhaust to hopefully prevent any heat problems with the truck bed liner.
As far as the alternator goes, I'm using the pineapple racing alternator relocation bracket so the alternator is down near the bottom of the drivers side of the engine bay (can be seen in a couple of the pictures).

Congrats on the project Dan. I have'nt been in this section for a while so i had no idea how far you had gone. I actually recognize some of those parts in the bay, and it looks like some of my car's organs where put to good use.
Can't wait to see the vids

Hey Luis, yeah things are coming together just waiting on a few odds and ends still here.
Rims are here:
Just waiting on the grannies speed shop 8.8" rear end with 4.3 gears, etc etc. Ordering the microtech at the start of next month, also Trochoid and dj55b are working on my pullies, fuel tank, and i'm getting your old aluminum radiator. Front tires are supposed to arrive any day here...
