i'll take the motor but i don't need any of the long block parts, y'all can have that stuff.

it'd be about 2 weeks to get the motor done Bert so just lemme know, i could probably pull it off sooner but that is pushing it unless i order the parts air mail.

Nick, get rid of the Fcon, i'm pretty sure that is what is causing the horrible gas mileage but i can check a few things like the TPS and O2 to be sure they are working which can cause a drop in gas mileage. i would rather have a small loss in power to gain 10+ MPG, that is pretty rediculous, i drive mine everyday and i get 20+ and i boost a fair amount still.

Alright well that sounds like a good deal to me ben. just let me know when you have time to haul it down here.

Just curious what you would charge for a short block FD rebuild. I just met a guy in town that may be loookin into getting his motor rebuilt so I told him i'd ask for him.

i will have to look into the rebuild price for an FD, i know the parts will be more expensive than and FB or FC since the metal gaskets cost a little more.

for an FD overhaul he would be looking at a base price of $1600(50% deposit to cover parts required up front) if all the internals are good. any internal damage or upgrades would be extra.

DAAAMN!

i just got a $1050 check from the treasury for my unused portion of my HUD insurance since i refinanced my house and didn't require the insurance any longer...

Nick and everybody, since i know most of us own FCs and we usually have a tough time i will do this: anyone who refers an engine rebuild to me i will give you $75 in cash per engine overhaul or you can trade it in for work on your car, i will pay out once the job is finished and paid for. if you want to go further i will give $150 for each referral if you participate in the engine overhaul and cleaning(requires cleaning of some of the internals).

i will give you a $75 discount Bert for being my first actual paying customer even though i won't allow people to refer themselves in the future.

See you June 11th

As mentioned earlier, I will see you at the Mather meet in June. By then I will have the parts in to make the charging system for my AD shocks, so I don't have to rely on Ground Control anymore to top up the nitrogen.

Pics of the beast's new heart attached.

i was wondering who you were, you didn't talk to any of us. :p

i was the red T2 2 cars over with the crazy wheel hop, lol.

btw, sorry to inform you guys, i just spoke with my freind at work and he said he talked to the guy today and he junked the car to a wrecking yard.... i guess you don't need a title to junk a car but i doubt too many people will turn down a rotary turbo to junk out. i wish he would have given me more notice about the car than 1 day, oh well.

so am i but you gotta overcome things one at a time.

i will have to try and find out where the car was junked to, the guy wouldn't say because he was kind of irritated that i backed out in the first place. would be nice to at least know where we can get some T2 parts since i have seen 0 in the wreckers anywhere nearby..

Yeah I'm going now My dad is going to be in LA and I'll be staying with my mom . I can do anythign as long as I don't drink or do drugs, etc. Not a problem for me since I don't anyways. And that damn sqeaking noise came back >:O As if a gallon of grease isn't enough?! I guess I'll just have to take the damn strut off when I can use my friends dads shop fender is still red damn moldings take their time I guess. And I realized I will almost never have enough money to buy a used Honda CB-R....or any other street bike. I still need to order my rear speakers $100. My rear strut brace $180. Rotors( I think) $350. I still think I should sell the F-con and buy Ben's setup (Rtech + safc2). I may end up spending $50, since noone really wants an F-con..
BUT YEAH IM IN BIATCHES!!!
