i'd be willing to tow it down there for just the turbo and the driver's window switch and maybe a couple of other tiny things, you all can do with the rest as you please.

i'm sure Bert might be interested in the motor if he can't afford to go through with the rebuild.

i'll see if he can hold onto the thing until the weekend if you want to go through with it.

K i asked my parents they said tow it down. I can only have it for three months so we have to part it out within that time fram. So you guys can take whatever parts you want and we can sell the rest.

for my car;

KYB AGX struts all around set: ordered
1" drop springs: ordered
Netami red/black leather seats: ordered
Hyperflex polyurethane bushing set: ordered

and this time i WILL set my tire pressures and try to get a matching RS tire at the left front.

i will also backcut the wastegate more like i should have when i was modding the turbo to help with the boost creep more, using my turbo as the guinea pig. that way i can run without the plug restricting the exhaust and cutting my overall power by about ~25%

Hey Ben, need tires? know some people over at just tires here in sac that might be able to hook you up on some tires.

As far as the rebuild cost, I have the cash I need the time, crazy time right now for school. Tryin' to finish two ten page reports by May 2nd. >_<

i don't wanna run new tires since they will just get torn to hell on the track, i have spread my budget rather thin with the upgrades i bought recently anyways. the standalone will run close to $1k alone... we have some decent used tire shops around here i will check them out and see if i can just find the one tire to match my good front one. the rears i'm not hugely concerned with, they are decent but the front just plows through the turns, mainly due to worn out suspension bushings, worn out struts and improper tire pressures.

gotta remember my car is 18 years old, has 170k miles and was completely original. after going over the complete car the only thing that i noticed that had been changed was the rear differential mount, everything else came on the car in 1987, lol.

Hey Ben, how much was that bushing set you ordered? And are you going to be able to install it at the house? Also, is it for ALL of the bushings for the car? Just curious since I DESPERATELY need new bushings in my TII. Thanks in advance.

Once again, I've got dibs on the tranny and complete rear end out of the parts TII. Jake, if Ben doesn't care, I don't care about the profits from the parts. You can have all of the money as far as I'm concerned. Just thought that would sound good to you.

sounds goood to me! just take what you want and I'll part the rest. Could use the money for my tranny problems. Sold my extra gauge surround this morning for 20 bucks And aquired a dash harness with the appropriate switches for the clutch. It should be on the way today.

Ben are we gettin the car or what?

Well you know what parts I want off of the car so we'll take a look and see if Ben or I need any extra parts and then you can start parting it. Thanks to Mike for hooking us up with a guy to crush the car for us.

would be nice to get the engine for a rebuildable core but i still have one good T2 core left so i guess it really is just up to Jake. what i do need though for sure is the turbo, driver's window switch and the center console radio surround since mine is cracked to hell...

So you wouldn't have a problem with me grabbing the IM's and TB? I just didn't want to take anything you wanted since we wouldn't even have this car if you didn't find it.

^ Don't kill yourself with a bike now. I wanna get a bike too, but I know I'll do something stupid on it and kill myself or somone else. Hey Nick, thought you had that old BMW, why don't you drive that around?

Count me in on the list, but I don't think I'll have my car back, unless Ben can work a miracle... Haha. BUt yea, by that time at least I can lay claim that the car is being worked on, as opposed to sitting in the front of my house.

Damn, this sucks, I'm still stuck at work, it's 7:30 G'damnit!
