quick question, how are the projectors mounted inside the FD housings? I ask because there are some very rough streets where I drive and I don't want these vibrating themselves apart!

Also, I have the ebay clear "euro" housings but I don't use them because of the rhd aim, I also have a cheap h4 kit so I already have ballasts, any way to get a discounted kit if I send you the parts I already have?
They are physically bolted to the housings, and then further reinforced with a high temp high bonding strength epoxy. I've got extremely rough streets here too, not to mention pretty stiff suspension, which makes for a miserable ride. We took vibration and long term durability into consideration when designing these and I'm confident they will stand the test of time (and bad roads)

How about a SakeBomb Garage Tee shirt? I think Heath said something about a free massage to whoever picks up their kit from him directly also

I'm working on shipping quotes so I should be PMing people with shipping quotes. I was playing around with the idea of flat rate boxes, but I think it's limited as far as tracking is concerned.

16. aoc007 with upgraded ballasts and option to use S2000 projectors?

I'm also doing research on my own bulb/ballast and a bit more on projectors and a possible shroud similar to the one around the stock lights that would come up to around the projector, what do you guys think about this idea?

Does everybody else still have the echeck option available to them in paypal? I went to pay last night and I am not given the echeck option, just pay by credit card or instant transfer from my bank account. Is instant transfer effectively the same as echeck or is there actually more of a fee associated with that?

It should be under "more funding options" before you confirm the payment.

I'd prefer to talk about this in PM's but since it's posted publicly I'll just address it here. Basically, ballasts are ballasts if they are the standard 35w, light the bulb, and don't fail over time obviously. Bulbs: The philips is an OEM bulb. They are very durable and long lasting and dont have a tint which reduces light (as david hayes pointed out about 10% reduction w/ the LOWEST wavelength tint). Pick a non oem bulb and you sacrifice output and bulb longevity. The shround is the only one that will fit the FD housing while still hiding the most amount of the projector. Lastly projectors... you probably realize by now that there are a number of projectors, and all are differently sized. The projectors we are using are very good (FX) and most importantly FIT the FD housings and buckets with minimal triming, and still allow the lights to not hit the chassis when flipping up/down). With these housings and projectors there is 0-.25mm clearance between the glass of the projector and lens of the housing, to give you an idea of the tollerances to make this fit in the housing. Long story short... the FX is a great projector and considering the space limitations, it's hard to do better. Trust me we did our homework before putting this GB together

I think Dan has resolved this issue. If anyone still is having a problem with the e-check feature please contact Dan (Scrub) cause he walked a couple people through it. I'm really sorry to everyone for even needing to bother with this e-check crap... but Dan and I decided it would be even worse to just tack on 3% to the price of the kit upfront. At least now people have to option to save that money even though it's a huge PITA.

I used instant transfer from my bank account (not credit card). I assume this is what they are referring to?? There is no e-check option as far as I can tell.
