Thumbs up

Well there is no considering on my part; I am absolutely in on this! I got to see these lights in action for the first time in August on very dark and even foggy roads out in the middle of PA back country. "Unbelievable" cannot describe the difference in this lighting and the quality of the build on the units.

I have an H4 kit installed on my car. That alone took countless hours to get the right install, so there is no question for me about the labor involved in these kits. These are absolutely 110% better than any H4 option. Slapping together some OEM equipment won't get you the look of the BMW unless they are put together correctly. I would put these head-to-head with the HID's in my 7-series BMW any day.

Wow finally someone is doing HID the right way. That razor sharp cutoff is what sold me. Reminds me of the HID's in my old Evo. Also, good call on the 4300k, it'll be pure white without any of that ricer blue 8000k nonsense.

I wanted to clarify because I realized that I misspoke earlier. The aftermarket ballast comes with a 1yr warranty... but NOT the mitsubishi unfortunately.

We wanted to use the correct bulbs with our kit Using any bulbs over 4300k reduces light output and would be pointless.

My friend has a reflector HID kit on his 240sx. I went out and took some comparison pictures. You'll notice the reflector HID kit shines light everywhere and has NO cutoff.

hate to break it to you but its not just FC owners these days There are a lot of young kids ending up with these cars, putting crap parts on, and thrashing them.

I think you misunderstood me so let me clarify - you can pick up a set of HID projector HOUSINGS for the prices I mentioned, not an entire lighting system. To do HIDs correctly like you are doing, the money is in the HID lighting, wiring, and ballasts. I wasn't speaking about this at all, just the projector housings. I also wasn't speaking of the amount of time it takes to do the retrofitting like you guys are doing. I actually think the price you are charging is more than reasonable and leaves little room for profit.

Wishing you much success so you will then make a set of sleepy eye 2 light projector HIDs for my car

If we buy the kit with the aftermarket ballast, would it be easy to find if it were to blow out in the future?

Yes. Ballasts are very very simple. There are two wires, + and - . If they ever blew out (which is not likely at all)... but if they ever did you could replace them with any 35w ballast, and it would only take rewiring two connections on the wiring harness. Replacing a ballast would be relatively simple.

It will not fit the FC, The FD uses curved style housings.

If you want projector housings, Go to the link I posted, Those I were told fit the FC, The fc uses a generic style housing shared by alot of early 90's/late 80's cars.

As far as I know, there is no difference in projectors, other than the quality of the of cut-off (some are sharper than others.) But in this case I think the pictures are quite clear on how sharp this cut-off is.

But maybe you are asking for another reason?

What's the deadline for this or is it the first 15 and it's closed...or at least 15 and it goes on 'til the end of time?

The quality of the projector can also affect the light pattern and dispersion, when I was researching these for my other car I was told the best was the S2000 projector, however they wouldn't fit in my BMW housings. And if you see a S2000 coming down the road at night you will probably agree! So I had always planned to put those projectors in my FD.

I'd like to close the GB on November 1st as long as we have 15+ people on the list. Once the GB is closed and payments are received we will start production on the kits.

Hey, there are lots of pics in the first slideshow at the top of the first page, but let me know if they are not working for you (I think its a flash application, so maybe you cant see it for some reason) and I'll post them. If there are other pictures youd like just let me know and I'm happy to post em
