Sorry but my english is not that good, what are the "struts" (Apex seals or what?)

Engine parts:
RA Super Seals with Race Springs
Atkins Solid Corner seals
Race Oil Springs inner and outer
OEM Side Seals with Chromolly spring
Stock balanced

So you are saying you are not allowed to run ET Streets? They are DOT street legal tires. How much psi in the hoosiers?

And About the tires I have to be in the 10sec with Drag Radial because all the supras in the same category I race are in the 10sec with the hoosier.

My car has 602RWhp@30psi also have 50hp wet shot with NX Boost based progressive controller cutting at 22psi and 7k rpm. when I use the NOS my car reaches 630RWhp.

I have found 2 problems:
- Greddy Type R BOV is very hard to set up and the turbo has to much lag between each shift.
Will upgrade to a TIAL BOV... Any Suggestion!!!!!!!!
- My Exhaust is: Downpipe 3" midpipe 2.75" catback 3"
Will Upgrade to 4" the entire exhaust system.

Stock suspension and 10psi on the Hoosiers.

If I use ET Street than I will be in a Superior category with cars from 8.5 to 9.8sec.

Regards
Here are 2 pic so you can see how the suspension is working.

It's been a long time since i visted this thread. I was reading from the start and found my first 11 second pass. I made 3 11 second passes on 11-14-03.

All were on stock motor/ports, stock twins, PFC 13/14psi, all the bolt ons...stock rear end and et streets...this was my 6th RX7. I was able to get faster once i went with a little T61...

.5195 reaction
1.673 60'
4.484 330'
7.52 1/8 mile
93.44 MPH
9.8249 1000'
11.78 1/4 mile
117.96 MPH

Those were some fun times Hope to be back out at the track running mid 10's very soon. Just waiting for the custom cage to be completed.

Mi apex'i power fc said 128mph but based on RPM, transmission gear, diff gear and tire diameter is around 130mph

7530RPM
4th gear 1:1
LSD Gear 4.44
Tire 26"

=130.91mph

The track race didn't have the trap speed... so we always do our math to estimate the speed. I will be visiting another Race track soon and post my 10sec time slip soon.. jejejeje

Well I hope this helps. Regards

FINALLY made it to the track for the first time this year (first time since going single turbo) this past Friday...I'd never run since the new turbo, clutch, suspension, and diff brace...Could have been better, but overall not too bad.

11.76 @ 125 mph

1.8x 60'

I was on Nitto NT 555 street tires...I only made 3 passes since I was a good 3 hours away from home and didn't want to break anything...

There's still plenty of room for improvement, and I plan on hitting a closer track that has a test n tune this coming Sunday.

Now, funny story behind this last run (my best run)...I was staged properly in the right lane, however, it had an ever so slight dip to it, so as I got off the brake on my last pass (for whatever reason it didn't happen my first 2 passes) I rolled forward thus becoming un-staged. You can see that my 2nd staged light is unlit if you look closely in the video. Well, at ESTA if this happens they let you backup, restage, and they reset the tree...I had the car in reverse and just started to engage the clutch to backup when I saw the tree start counting down...lol. I had about a half a second to jam the clutch back down, throw it from reverse to 1st, bring the rpms up, then launch....The WS6 had a full second of reaction time on me...Watch what happens!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AfZyp2dHK6c

Also, fwiw, I was on my 457RWHP tune ('low' boost)...

That MPH is enough for 10's. Get some better tires and more seat time and you should be able to do it.

Thanks guys. 'Low' boost is only low relative to my other setting. Low boost is 18 psi. :P

My dyno numbers would be higher if I was running a 4" exhaust instead of this piddly 3" crap. lol

You can improve about 1 second here based on your mods.

So the guys running street tires, please enlighten me...how the **** are you guys launching your cars???

I went to run at the track this past weekend and actually ran slower...It was ALL track...Car wouldn't launch, or hook AT ALL in 2nd for that matter...Track was unprepped.

When I ran my 11.76 the car just HOOKED and went...Although it was a much better track. However, even on that run (my fastest) my 60' wasn't that great. My car should be capable of running low 11's on street tires if I can get out of the damn hole! I think on my best run I caught the rpms on the upswing around 5500 and the car just took off. I tried this same method this past weekend, but the car just spun like crazy due to the sh*tty track....

So how are you guys launching your cars (on street tires) to get such great 60' times??

There comes a time to get better tires. If you were street racing from a roll then you would be fine but if you want better track times get some drag tires like et streets. Just my .02

Fwiw, I am planning on picking up a pair of MT ET streets.

It just probably won't happen this year.

KCIR - DA @ 9:54PM 1804'
60': 1.743
330': 4.978
1/8: 7.559

Dyno'd today. 402 rwhp at 15psi on PFC and autometer boost gauge, 16psi on the dyno's gauge. AFR's were showing about .5 leaner on the LC1 logs, just swapped in a 3 bar last night and I haven't tuned for it yet, hence the huge rich spot in the map.

You have 10 second potential with 20+psi boost and ET Streets.

You must be talking to TRWeiss1. The funny thing is I ran a 11.7@125 on one of my slower passes the same night before I did the 11.5@121, and I dyno'd 402whp.

Hey TRWeiss1, was that pass you did on the 20psi/475whp tune? Edit: Just watched the video, it was on "low boost" and 460whp. Interesting...
