thanks for the good response

i come from holland, and here it is really hard to find some staggered wheels for a reasonable price!! almost everything has to come overseas and that's way too expensive!

the wheel i bought are barracuda velvet's, wich are replicas of the oxigin lexor.
the lexor costs about 900 dollars for a wheel but these cost just 400 or so.

i cant wait to have them heren

No problem...
Another set of JDM imported wheels?
Those dimensions are not very easy to find in the U.S.

what's not to get

i got the advice for the wheels from ReTed also...
i followed his list on http://fc3spro.com/TECH/MODS/RT/rims.htm and asked advice on this forum many times!

im getting a 225/40/18 tiren in front and 255/35/18 in the rear...
according to Reted this wont give any problems with fitment!

if you want the wheels to go a little deeper inside the fenders just use a higher offset...

Those who are interested....
17x8 +35 offset -- 235/45/17 (who says 235 won't fit? )
17x9 +35 offset -- 255/40/17

These fit perfectly under stock fenders with HKS coilovers. The tires *JUST* tucks in under the fenders.
To be safe, I rolled in the front fenders.

The front offset is the maximum you can go . A wierd offset of 36 or 37 for the front may be better.
The rear CAN fit a 10" rim with a slightly lower offset.

*edit* a better tire choice would have been: 235/40/17 and 255/35/17
Oh well.

You cheat biatch!
Coilovers allow you to run slightly more offset and push the tire in.
J's car runs 17" x 8", +35 Rezaz Roars on Koni Yellows + GC coilovers, and they hit the damper. :P
He's using a small spacer just to get them to clear.

Try again.
There is no such thing as a 255/35/17 tire you biatch!

Where you getting your tires sizes from?
Mars?

Ok... Ive done some math, and by my calculations the only way to get a 10 wide rear rim on with a little fender rolling is to have +27,+28 and maybe a +30 a little close and a +31 will fit but you would half to measure the clearance with a plug gap tool and a 32 is going to rub???? Any offset equal to or less then +25 looks like it would rub. any thoughts??? would like to see close up pictures of 17x10's on the rear

+35 is VERY Close the fender, and the A arm. Anymore out than +35 in the rear and you will need more than minor fender work. Mine are 17x10 +35 with a 275 40 tire.

This might seem like a dumb question to some of you but what does offset mean? Like I get confused when people have the same size rims but because of the offset they don't fit. Hope I didn't confuse anybody.

Offset is how far in or out the wheel sits as a basic explination.

Look here for a more technical explination:

http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/tech/...jsp?techid=101

or google wheel offset

Have you...or anyone with a similar set up, seen any indication of rubbing on the rear control arm???... I know it is like 3/16ths of an inch from the arm

i saw those wheels too, they will not work on an FC... the rears will stick out like an inch or more, you would need over fenders

Why would you want so much wheels on a non-turbo?
The added weight would just slow you down...?

For my vert (5 lug) I would like to go with an 18" rim. Was looking at the EXEL E-2.
For tires i would like to run AS wide as i can with 18" rim w/ say +40 offset what width of rim with those specs should i run in REAR, would like low profile tires of coarse, unless i plan on doing a lift for the 7! What width tire and aspect ratio.

What should i run up front with same offset and same rim height. (Tire width and aspect ratio as well as the width of the rim) Without any rubbing.

Thanks

What size tire?
Front, I think it's too tight.
Rears are no problem.

The 8mm spacer makes your offset effectively 50 - 8 = +42mm.
