it does take years to develope new designs.. OR WE COULD JUST BE LIKE MAZDA, AND PUT THE SAME SHITTY 13B ENGINE IN THE NEW RX-8 AS WE DID THE RX-7, AND MAKE THE CAR NO DIFFERENT.. wow.. mazda.. so smart.. like i said.. mazda used a shitty engine, in a badass car.. all there is to it..

^^^he is correct..Iam modded on a t-67 and whoop on modded ls1's all day on 8 PSI. Look at the sales of camaro's and trans am's they were declining rapidly in the late 90's.
The body and frame were still primarily late 80's technology. Parts off a 89 or 90 would fit a 2000.

here yet, ur still ignoring the $$ issue, u have 10-15k in your engine, when they have below 3k in there's.. i promise u, u havent beaten a turbocharged LS1.. or a supercharged LS1.. u probably beat, cam/header LS1 cars.. and if u beat em, u dont beat them by much.. so.. ur happy b/c ur 10k motor beat a 2k motor by half a car.. stop talking.. please.. ignorant..

There are no 97s in the United States, guy. They stopped legal importation of FDs into the US in 95......

This single turbo RX7 was built a Hinson Super Cars for street use. The engine was custom
built by HSC and displaces 346ci. With a 62mm turbo, this potent street combination
made 563rwhp on pump gas. It is used as a daily driver for those days you
just cannot be late for work.

Look at that car, LS1..not 5.3 and with fairly large 62mm... you must be dropping aloooot more bread

I am running about the same setup as yours and i TOTALLY understand what you mean by only 13psi. I run 14 and still haven't found one car in my area that can out run me. I have had one close call but his motor didn't want anymore N20 so came apart on him.

WHY? Because you're saying there is a massive time gap between the RX-7 production and RX-8 when there wasn't. RX-7S WERE NEVER BUILT IN AMERICA, MOST JAPANESE CARS STILL AREN'T AS A MATTER OF FACT. They're built in Japan, then shipped over... that doesn't mean the car's PRODUCTION stopped because they decided it was too expensive to sell them in America anymore. That last part of your statement makes no damn sense at all.... Your QUESTION was "what was the last year of the RX-7 model?" and I fffreakin gave it to you. Are you still trying to 1-up me when you've proven you don't know what you think you know about these cars and then try to play it off that you knew there weren't 97 RX-7s in the United States? wow.. are u a ****** retard? or just plain dumb? a 323 is a LS1.. built from the exact same block, just a slight difference in the pistons.. and yeh.. the 323 im getting can hold up to 15-20.. it will push insane amount of #'s.. but like i said, im not building a race car.. now am i? and $4400 wont get u 500hp.. the single turbo kit alone, is $4400.. so please tell me.. where do u shop?? thrift store? goodwill?? u must have some cheap *** **** on ur car. u must've bought that ebay kit.. =/

ok, the point of the matter is, the guy said they quit making the camaro.. apparently they didnt.. they were in production of the 09' camaro.. and they were developing it, and developement takes time.. so really, they never stopped making it, they just didnt wanna pull the wool over the sheep's eyes like mazda did, and be a lame ***, and use the "EXACT SAME ENGINE" as they did in the model b4.. why come out w/ another model, if ur just gonna use the same ****** engine?? god, mazda is one of the dumbest companies, almost as bad as mitsubishi.. gee.. lets make a new car, but put the 13 yr old same exact engine as we did in the model b4.. zzzzzzzzzzz.. guess they ran low of funds.
