HOLA! Im Ben, for yall that dont know me, and for yall that do im spideyfan6010's brother. I just came across this gem a 85 GSL RX-7 for a measly 500 bucks. The interior is flawless, but the outside could use a touch up in a couple of places. I need the gas tank washed out from the gummy rust debris thats in there. But i also already purchased a 13 gallon fuel cell in the mean time. other than that shes ready to Rock, and roll. AND its on its way to the freebirds meet as we speak, so i will see you there!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kamanayeeeehhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!

 

 

oh yeah and my top window frame is a little bent out of shape from the old owner backing into the garage with it open. but it can be loved back into shape.

 

That's a great find, looks really good. Can't beat it for the price.

As soon as we got the car off the trailer we fixed the door problem and started her. she cranks right up. Just have to get a gas tank and a battery on her and we will be good to go

Hey, talked to the guy about the fuel tank,he wants 40 bucks.He's going to check the inside and let me know tonight what it looks like.I'll let you know tomorrow.

Pm me on the inside of the tank and ill look into it. i just bought that acid today going to try it tomarrow. Its worth a shot but ill probably take that tank too just in case this one burns to the ground. lol

Defiantly!!! I want to drive Eva but I don't have an alarm system yet so I can't take her to work. I like the meets every month but it does seem like a LONG stretch from month to month. I am always down for some Freebirds or what ever. Ben still has to name his 7. :P

 

For the person at the meeting that wanted a 1st gen, there is one on craigslist for 800 with a extra motor.

 

i just changed the oil with Royal P 10W-40
Flushed the radiator with purple ice, and new coolant
New NGk plugs, and wires
DIff, clutch fluid.
Rebuilding the nikki carb and shedding some unwanted weight off of it.
i plan to put 2nd gen coils, and an oil cooler, this RB exhaust off ebay but im running low on money, getting the paper end of this car ready.

I dont know about that royal purple stuff and other purple stuff you may have washed the gunk thats holding the motor together. Becareful. Just use 2050 catrol. Save your money for cool stuff oils gonna burn up.

 

yeah? well i guees it all goes under personal preference i like rotaries reaction to Royal P, and i keep a gallon jug of it in my bins at all times, i like it, and i guees ill be a spokesman for it. lol but yeah i stopped there to spend money on getting it passed inspection, registered, plated. by this week. Im washing out the tank today, and starting my rebuild of the nikki carb, so when she fires up shell run strong. i figured that'll keep me from playing with her on the road and give me an excuse to get her legal first. lol
