TX ehh...

well got the car up and running removed about 30 lbs of useless junk, now the damn thing wont stay running....

the lines are new, the pump is new, the tank is new, the carb is rebuilt. WTF!!

sometimes this car gets to me it really does... seems like its starving, the gauge is reading only 2 psi, which isnt good. and when hector was over he said the jets werent working.... so yeah... somewhere i lost a lb of pressure and i need it back.

Ehh that might be true for some. but damn it sure adds up fast and all the simple things end up taking the longest.....

its putting me off really. Id rather gut it and start from scratch that to sit here and play mindgames... the rotory gods have forsaken me....

even starting from scratch isnt that easy. you still have to tune it and its a combination of everything to get it to run right. so either way its going to take some work. never heard of anyone gettinng it right the first time. you gotta find tune it every step of the way...

i feel you tho... i am having the same problem right now. i still havent gotten my car started since i flooded it 3 to 4 months ago at free birds. part of that is my fault tho. been super lazy and plus the baby is taking too much of my time. hopefully, when she gets a little older i will have more time for the maz-stang. got a mustang rack and pinion kit ready to go in. its becoming less and less maz and more and more stang. lol

TX Eureka!

ok so something wasn't working right, the pcv wasn't opening or got stuck open, either way got it straight, tuned the carb got the idle smooth and it cranks faster than you can turn the key. lol

now whos got a racing beat exhaust they want to donate?

Putting the insurance on it as im typing, and going to the courthouse in the morning, to get the registration, and hopefully get it inspected as well.

TX

well the carb is acting like crap... im not sure entirely whats the issue but its flooding all to hell.

for one the secondaries arent opening, and furthermore, when there not open the gas is constantly squirting out when idling in the driveway and the fuel is just sitting there.

and there seems to be an internal vacuum leak somewhere in the carb or between the plates. its defiantly not any of the usual suspects there all capped and plugged so its defiantly hiding somewhere.

seriously considering robbing the rx2 for the side-draft setup and swapping it over for now. the nikki is being a pain in the ***.

so until i tear it down and inspect it its not going to be going anywhere.

since im talking to myself i guess. LOL broke one of the taillights, it was my fault . but lucky i found some off Craigslist for 20 bucks! LOLL the set <iframe class="imgur-album" width="100%" height="550" frameborder="0" src="http://imgur.com/a/QlTaf/embed"></iframe>

oh yeah and i had to modify the seat removed the rear bins, trimmed down the mounts, got almost 2 inches more headroom, and more length... now i can actually drive it and be comfortable.
