The methanol is a future project, after my bank account stops smoking .

Another problem on the horizon for me is tuning. Not too many viable options in this part of the country unfortunately.

Awesome Rich. Are you doing the magnaflow mufflers for sound dampening?

Looks real nice rich. Im pretty sure around march/april time steve will be coming out. Quiet a few people will need a tune unless you wanted one before then. Good luck with it!

Looks really good!
Hehe your dump tube looks tiny "lol".
4" exhaust  I beleive Borla makes 4" strait through mufflers as well. I know they make a titanium XR1.

Tips:
* You can get a water heater blanket and use the under the carpet/over the transmission tunnel to deaden the sound and reduce the heat.
* Use the yellow stuff made for gas (500 deg temp) to seal atp fittings instead of white stuff.

Thanks guys.

Yeah, that's the general idea. they're only 6 inch in diameter on a 4 inch pipe, so who knows if they'll do a damn thing

How come you didn't go with an oval magnaflow for the middle. When I do mine I was thinking of oval in the middle and round in the back, but if you wish you would have gone oval in the back I may just do two ovals.

A friend of mine is affliated with a large shop who ceramics, powders, and polishes. The GZ LIM is 'cerama-chromed,' claimed good up to 1600 degrees thermal protection. The satin black ceramic coating is claimed good up to 3600 degrees---here is a teaser shot on a mans:

I had aspec coat my dp/exh mani/turbine b/c logistically it was easier.

Cool. Aspec was supposed to do the same to my kit, but didn't. Although I was told to send it later, its a bit of a pain now.

Well, the choices were between a 6 inch round can and a 5x8 oval can. I'm not sure there is a huge difference in sound dampening between the two different types of can. I tried calculating the effective muffling area of both choices but my head started to hurt when I got to the oval can

I'm just going to install the exhaust, see how it is, and adjust from there.

If I remember we were supposed to do the turbine housing but time became a issue. That is when I had said send it back when you tear it down again, since you mentioned were planning on tearing it back down.

I have been debating about having my comp housing polished locally, I hear you do good work
If you decide to polish, give me a call if you still have my # or, pm me. I'm wondering who will tune my car when it's done also. Hopefully Steve Khan will be around....

Yes, you did. I just didn't want to take any chances of anything being damaged during shipping. (per normal for my luck). Not a crack at you.

Rich, let me know how that 6 inch exaust works out. I might install one on my sewer pipe exaust also.

Looking good! I'm glad someone with a lot of experience and whose tried out several different setups went with this kit. I can't wait to see what kind of power you'll be putting down .

Rich seems to be immune to exhaust volume. When I lived in NJ the front of my building was a good distance from the road. There was a lawn, sidewalk, more lawn, and then the street. My place was near the back of the building. When Rich drove down my street with his old setup the floor shook, the windows rattled, and all the birds that weren't killed by the exhaust fumes didn't start chirping again for a good 5 minutes. It was like a combo between a monster truck rally and 747 fly-by.

OHHHH YEAHHHH!!!! V8s run in fear, bitches

Chris, I remember fondly the times I would come to a stop about 50 feet before your building, scan for cops, then proceed to tear off, revving out first and second gear
