I haven't tried out a borg warner, but I did have a GT35r setup prior to the setup I have now (6766). The GT35r was ridiculous fun, spooled up very fast and had a nice broad powerband. I had the T3 1.06 hotside. Awesome setup for the street imo. The only reason I changed is because I got greedy with power.

I have that same compressor housing- it's a Caterpillar parts(that's what's shaved off the side! Please get rid of those twin headlights, they're embarrasing to the rx7...

I ran a 35r then I upgraded the wheel to 66mm and it's an awesome street turbo but my honest opinion if you plan on racing your car then the BW would be best, when u race these cars you are always 6000rpm and higher so the fact that it spools at 3800 rpm is useless when racing.. I am also upgrading to a BW turbo soon for 500+
It's 1/2 the price of a BB turbo and at high rpm BB will do nothing for you!!!

^Not so. BB will give better transient response and help with on/off throttle etc. For road racing it is a benefit, maybe you're talking about drag

Here is a good read comparing an s360 turbo to the large t4 35r. The graphs look identical almost. The s366 should put a hurting on the 35. Thanks for the pics. That is exactly what I am going to do...

so what is the PowerBand in comparison for all three turbos im currently stuck between getting the the {S300SX3-60 .91 A/R twin scroll} and {S300SX3-66 .91 A/R twin scroll with a 90 degree compressor 3" outlet} the S300SX3-63 would require me to buy the a .91 A/R since with only comes with a .88 A/R open scroll undivided

S300SX3-60 ??rpm-??rpm

S300SX3-63 ??rpm-??rpm

S300SX3-66 ??rpm-??rpm

thank you for any imput

The turbo starts spooling around 2,000-2,500rpms on his V-mount......and hits mid 20's PSI boost pretty quickly. It also sounds pretty good and pulls hard up top. He has the dual wastegate external option 1.05 size housing. Be interested in seeing something run the EFR7483 and see what results they get.

looks like I totally mistyped something here. EFR8374. My intuition was right on the turbos as well
