removed intake manifold and exhaust parts drop off at ceramic coating shop.

will be removing apex pfc, hks twin, and datalogit will be for sale, going with diferent ecu.

 

bought a part of my rebuild kit today!

door bars and the a rear X bar and its set Hoping to be running in September, then i'll break it by October.

 

Spent $15 on a cable, to then 20 min later find one in my shed.

Started swapping transmissions, clutches and drive shafts yesturday. Finishing this afternoon. Damn drive shaft U joint was shattered -.-

 

just installed the Halguard 1.4lb clean agent fire extinguisher in the Rx-3.....=)

 

Haven't seen her since Saturday, am having withdrawals lol.

 

Got the stock transmission out yesturday along with the stock clutch. Putting in the Exedy stage 1 organic clutch today and GXL trans with a GXL driveshaft. Also doin some exhaust work. Turns out I had one of those 2.5" downpipes lol.

Fixed brakelight switch, replaced battery that wouldnt hold a charge, and began detailing the car so it can be dropped off at RP to be tuned again. 20psi this time. Just finishing up the last little details before moving in to my new place in florida.

 

Tried to get the gxl trans in with no luck at all messing with it tomorrow. Got the exedy clutch in amd torqued down

 

checked what the radom code that caused limp mode and CEL in my S5 GTU was. Turns out to be a OMP failure, checking the ECU in a few minutes to see if it is fried too.

Got home this morning and first thing was to grab my keys and start her up.

 

Finally found the annoying fuel leak that has been tormenting me for the past week. replaced fuel pressure hose and presto..good as new..now a wash and back in the streets.

 

How colorful the FD is getting

 

Pulled out the Mazda "recall" for fan control. Pulled AC controls out to do "Hyperite" mod for giggles. Last night readjusted tps with Ant from Franken Rotary and realized my water temp sensor had come unplugged...car ran much better after taking care of that.

 

 

Bought a house in Crestview. Im in the army. Got a sweet assignment to Eglin AFB around the Ft. Walton Beach area.

I plan on making it down to clearwater on Oct 15th. Having the car retuned and some last minute things squared away at rotary performance in Dallas before the car heads on to florida with me.

High pressure side of power steering hose leak, a few of the worn out bushings in the rear suspension, WG dump being plumbed into the DP, tune for around 20psi. Bought a few things that I needed from chris too. i.e. new floor mats, new coin/ash tray, R1 factory lip.

I have a decent street port with a fairly small single turbo. Having RP max out the boost and then backing it off two pounds so I'm not ringing the **** out of it.
