What did you to or with your RX-7 Today?

I saw this in a thread elsewhere on this forum, and thought WE should have one too!

What did you do to or with your RX-7 today?

I took pics for my part out thread...

This weekend I swapped drievetrains on my vert and gxl, but the motor is left to do this weekend. Also, swapped brakes and suspension, since I have coils

The vert had TII drivetrain...

I just finished changing the oil. Why do RX-7's run so much better after you change the oil?

is your avatar of a rotor cut in half?

NoviceRotaryTech. 05-27-10 07:28 AM

Nothing yet.

But yesterday I tightened up the alt belts, they keep coming loose.
I also found that's its possible to snap the adjusting bolt if tightened too much.

$18 at mazda dealer for a original one or $1 at ace hardware for a non original that works just as good.

Put the car cover on after charging the battery

Acesanugal 05-27-10 03:41 PM

Went to the bank. I wish the car had A/C installed...

Acesanugal 05-27-10 03:42 PM

Ray, to answer your question, all cars run/idle/sound a little better after an oil change. Oil breaks down and loses it's ability to effectively coat and lubricate things inside your engine. Ya big silly!

Took pictures of the vert interior for the 4 pt bar fabricator. Ran a longer wire for the momentary switch on the carputer. Added red LED map lighting.

papsmagu 05-27-10 05:17 PM
