I removed my oil pan (again) in what I hope is my final effort to get rid of the pesky oil pan leak. This time I installed an oil pan brace and stud kit fron Banzai Racing. I just refuse to live with the leak.

I swear, if this does not fix it once and for all I will pull my hair out!!

Insurance adjuster comes out Friday. My yard had around 4 feet of water in it and all the cars were flooded bad. I had my fd on ramps and it still got soaked inside.

Diff Mounts in - New midpipe/exhaust in

I am finally back on the road!

Love the sound of the RB exhaust with straight pipes. I was going to put in a resonator, but no need, it's nice and as quiet as can be without it.

Are you leaking coolant..ie see coolant on the ground....?

Or are you eating coolant? ie coolant level going low but not finding the leak.

Check the plastic piece that goes into the engine on the drivers side right near the spark plugs. When my car would get up to temp I would lose coolant but could never find a leak, I finally found it pissing and was told it is a common spot that goes bad. The pressure would build up at temp and I had very small stream that would shoot out from that spot.

After my fender bender the insurance company wrote me a $1400 check and said it was less than 10% of the Blue Book Value of my car. Considering the shape she is in right now (being stripped down) I was quite shocked.

well the initial leak was the top hose had sprung a leak. replaced that, now i am getting a residual smell of burnt coolant, but no puddle.
