Is there any particular reason why Raleigh looks like a PacMan Ghost?

This is sarcasm, right? Haha! Just giving you a hard time. We are actually dead in the middle of moving the meeting spot because of the distribution of people that come to the meets. The Char-Grill off Six Forks Rd. is really not the greatest location so we are working on relocating somewhere based on making it closer to the majority of people. We are also keeping in mind some of the farther people too, which is exactly why we are working on figuring out exactly where people live. The meets will continue to be where they are until we've spotted a new place and have done everything to ensure that can meet there.

Honestly, I don't mind meeting at Char-grill, I like driving down Six Forks getting to show the car a little. How about somewhere on Glenwood? LOL

i would personally like somewhere closer to the beltline, THEE DOLLHOUSE comes to mind, hahahaah. seriously, i don't really much mind the distance of the char-grill, as much as the fact that i don't like the location(ie scenery, smell/atmosphere, and its position vs. other activities in raleigh)

I think we need to start doing other stuff. I am still down for the tech days, but think we should do other things like grilling out, invading members homes, movies. I think if we are going to continue meeting twice a month, that one saturday should be an activity day, and one saturday a meeting day. It'll give both sides a chance. those of us that prefer to do things will have one saturday, and those that prefer meeting, and just chilling in a parking lot full of cars will have the other. as surprising as it might be, some might even do both

anyhow, just my 2 cents. discuss amongst yourselves, haha.

 

^Sounds like a damn good idea to me. I don't know much about what's around Raleigh, so I wasn't aware it wasn't near many other activities...other than the fact that we had to drive a bit to get to Frankie's for example, haha. Grilling out, tech days, home invasion, movies...I'm lovin all that. I think sometime it would be awesome if we went to Carowinds or somewhere too.

i am down for carowinds, kings dominion, road trips, etc.

i live a ballin lifestyle, and need the group to be more ballin as well.

for instance i am going to start putting crushed diamonds in my gasoline. not only is it the most ballin thing you can do to gasoline, it will make my exhaust twinkle.

Yeah I don't care where we go, I just need to get moving and doing something besides just standing around, at least for one meet a month like you said. The other we can do whatever. It would be cool to have a trip a month, if possible. Nothing outrageous, just something to get away. I'd LOVE to go out to a river/creek/stream/whatever on some innertubes and just float again sometime. We used to do that every now and then, it was cool, just ride the river and relax.

So I just found out I'm going to Moody...GA.

 

when did it happen? a friend of mine was going on the regular about a month ago.

it doesnt surprise me though, those strippers were turning tricks up in there. like i mentioned in a previous post, my friend (same one from above) got his happy ending for about $100. and i trust this guy 100% not to lie, plus i met the stripper.

I don't even know how true that is yet. I don't officially have orders, my Flight Chief just told me while he was hanging out in my office. I asked him how he knew and when he found out, and he just told me "don't worry, I have my sources" or something to that effect. He might just be messing with me.

Alright dammit Greg, what are you trying to do to me?! I forgot how awesome the dragon was last year. I WILL get the car running again before I leave. I WILL be going back to the dragon before I leave. I WILL...apparently forget what else there was...

I must be getting old. My ear hair was curling back off the phone today while I was talking, curling back into my ear and itching, not to mention rustling and making it harder to hear. This is getting ridiculous.

When I go back to the dragon, it'll be during the week because of decreased traffic. I'm also going to mount my camera on the harness bar too. Yippee, skippee.

 

Where the hell is Moody and can we come visit!?!?!?! When do you have to leave?

 

Moody is in Valdosta, GA, all the way down near the FL border. And of course you're welcome to visit. I'll have to see about my living conditions down there before I promise the whole crew can come at the same time, haha, but you guys are more than welcome. I don't know yet when I'm leaving. If I had to take a stab at the dark, I'd say around Oct or Nov, give or take about a year (yeah, that's right, knowing the military I could have been gone for months already)
